kooba made in china?

I kept hearing that Kooba bags are made in China, so I emailed Kooba and received a response that stated all of their bags are made in th U.S. However, I was looking at a bag mentioned in another thread that is listed on eBay and one of the pictures shows a tag in the bag that says "made in China". What do your tags say?

I've have owned probably 75 Koobas or more and I have never seen one that wasn't made in China. Kooba's Custumer service is suspect at best. The letter must have been posted to you after the representative just had his "Weed" break.

All their bags are handcrafted in China but the leather is from Italy, and I think their belts are handcrafted in Italy. Who did you contact?

On another note, I won't mind "weed" breaks at work either.

Thanks a lot for your kindly answer. I got an Elisha in yellow and I like it but my BF have noticed inside it stated handcrafted in China. Anyway, I'm OK with that but just wonder as I have no knowledges about Kooba at all. Before this I never heard of it too ( don't laugh I didn't live behind the moutain ..lol).

I will post pics later when am at home as now am at my cousin home for a few days.
