Some of them are more girl. And I doubt Kylie paid for it because they actually published a pic. I think they give celebrities freebies to draw in the crowds.

I think you are right... I can't imagine anyone wanting to pay that much for a manicure though... That being said, I'm a DIY girl, so I'm extra extra cheap (though that's a great excuse for me to buy too many bottles of polish, so technically I pay just as much as the salon-goers).

Me too! I give myself salon-quality manis once a week. On topic though: Kylie looks to be in her mid 20s ... But for once they're not dressed entirely skanky as they usually are.

They dress waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy too old for their age. In a provocative way and just in general. Especially Kylie. She looks much older than 16. I predict that the hot messness will be through the roof with her once she gets just a little bit older.

She may have celebrated her birthday with a group of family and friends at the weekend, but Kylie Jenner clearly still has the energy to socialise.

The 16-year-old joined a group of girlfriends for lunch at the Marmalade Cafe in Calabasas on Tuesday.

The reality show star looked casual but stylish in a cropped grey T-shirt, denim hot pants and leather boots.

A black and blue cap and metallic bracelets completed the look.

The star was holding the car keys to her brand new $125,000 Mercedes-Benz SUV which she drove for the first time on Monday.

Older half sister Kourtney Kardashian documented the event via Instagram with the
caption: 'Look out world! @kyliejenner is a licensed driver!'

While Rob Kardashian, equally proud, wrote: 'Little Sis passed her driver's test. Woot woot!'

Californians can become licensed drivers at the age of 16, and Kylie seems to have taken advantage of her new status immediately following her birthday.

The teenager has been driving for at least six months with a learner's permit, and was clearly delighted to be a fully fledged driver on the Los Angeles highways.

I know you're supposed to wait one year after your license to drive other people. People break this (illegally) all the time, but again normal people don't have paparazzi following them around...

That information is incorrect. Most states provide that teen drivers under the age of 18 following the 12-months period aftter the issuance of their licenses may not drive a motor vehicle with more than one passenger in the vehicle under the age of 21 who is not a family member.

I've never heard of that. I always thought you could drive whoever you want after one year. Maybe you're right, I wouldn't know but that's just been my personal experience. So all those high schoolers under 18 who drive their friends around are doing it illegally?

If they are doing it within 12 months of receiving their regular permit, yes. At least the state I'm in.
