This surely is a ridiculous price - like the alligator/croc Calvis
It's difficult to equate value, but 100% alligator/croc is relatively so little more
in comparison with the base price in a standard leather.

The full matte alligator version is a little of over twice the price, $29,900.
I do realise that you can't quantify value, but you can recognise profiteering
If a standard leather is around $7500
isn't almost twice the standard price $14,300, just to have a little piece if of alligator for sangles and strap a huge price hike
especially when a full alligator is around only four times the standard leather price - $30,000

It looks like people pay more to be understated. I think most people won't recognize a touch from afar while a full exotic bag is quite noticeable.

Perhaps you might want to look into the Kelly Depeche 25? It's a wristlet, and the strap is detachable. There are alternatively wristlets under SLG that might suit your needs.
I have a blue nuit phw and I wear mine by attaching a strap at the sangles. The only downside is deforming it in the long run but overall I’m very happy with it.

While looking for a clutch, this etoupe Kelly Depeche popped up in my search. I got it resale in pristine condition for less than retail, and I have used it several times in the last month. I really like it! It’s great for grab and go. A couple of times I brought it with me to work along with my work tote, knowing that I had an event I had to get to in the middle of the day but I didn’t want to bring my heavy overstuffed tote. (I don’t even know what’s in it!!) This was perfect for that. It fits my iPhone max, card case, Bastia, keys, lip gloss, and a pair of sunglasses without the case. (I tried, the case was too bulky.) There’s still room left for a couple of small items, like mints or tissues. I usually hold it like a clutch, but the wrist strap is handy to hang off the wrist or even forearm like a purse if you need both hands. I think this little pouch is underrated, and I find myself reaching for it more than I expected!
I love this and am considering getting one.

I like the birkin much more than the cabat, but I guess depending on your social environment, birkin could be difficult to wear in some situations because it's oversaturated on social media. It's one of the most practical bags and more so than the cabat as it can be closed, so it's a shame, but...

I've been thinking of the Kelly Depeche 25 as a clutch and shoulder bag as well!
Noticed that it's (relatively) the same size as a Mini Jypsiere, except one could switch out the strap more easily on a KD -- so that's a huge pro for me, aha.
