Kelly Danse

Danse is a great bag. You can wear it so many ways. You can even use the strap as belt alone and carry the bag as a clutch.

I just found this thread and never heard of a KELLY DANSE before this. Now I want one too!!

Could you possibly send these ways to wear it again to me privately so not to bother others? For some reason over half of the examples seem blacked out! Merci beaucoup!

not for me i find it delicate and a bit flimsy then again im not a fan of simple bags that get the HW slapped on and get the kelly last name in all honesty its either a kelly or its not.SO kelly kelly danse kelly herbag kelly kelly kelly !!!

Love the Kelly Danse too, my SA told me they are not producing any Kelly Danse this year, has anyone else heard otherwise?

My SA here in Sydney has informed me the Danse was a seasonal piece and no longer offered, not even for SO.
I have located an absolutely stunning one up for sale from UK reseller; for $8000AUD!!

Bumping this old thread as Kelly Danse is being reissued for FW19. From what I know it's coming in Evercolor or Jonathan, the latter slightly more expensive.

Approximate dimensions:
Width 22 cm/ 8.6 in
Height 16.5 cm/ 6.5 in
Depth 8 cm/ 3 in

Strap drop length ranges from 58 cm to 70 cm and the strap is removable. Here are some mod shots I found to share:
Renee Zellweger mostly worn as crossbody bag

Worn as shoulder bag

Worn as a backpack

Worn as waist bag

Leather strap detached and worn with sangle canvas strap

Strap detached, carried as clutch


There were also discussions on Kelly Danse vs Kelly Pochette.

And now we wait to see who'll share when they finally get their hands on one!

I know it'll come in some of the seasonal colors for FW19 (Deep Blue, Vert Bosphore, Vert Amande) but the best person to ask would be your SA as each store buys different colors depending on their local clientele. Even if I share the list of colors offered at podium (which I actually have no knowledge of), it won't be of much help if your store didn't order the particular color/hw combo.

As for price, my estimate is that it's probably in the $7K range in the US. I'm not sure if any one person can give a definitive answer as to when bags arrive in stores. It's part and parcel on the joys of shopping H! Sorry I can't be of more help.

Random not-so-great pictures of the information from a leaflet that came with the Kelly Danse bag for reference.
