Kelly 25 or 28

Sellier holds significantly less than retourne because of the structure of the bag. Wife occasionally has to put the 28 sellier back in the closet when she can’t fit it what she wants/needs for the day. Figure out whether a 25 would hold what you need.
Both sizes and both colors are beautiful in sellier with GHW. You have to decide if you need a little more room if 25 or 28. But for sellier I love the 25 and I would downsize whatever i needed to take. For me the 28 is a little to small for work and a little too big for evening and shopping. Also i am not a fan of the casual look the contrast stitching of gold on a sellier kelly. So process of elimination is definitely the etain in a Kelly 25. Good luck deciding.
I have a 25 in sellier. I also have a 28 retourne.
My 25 cannot fit a large wallet. I have a long bearn wallet and it barely fits inside, and pushes against the sides, so I don’t use it when carrying my 25. What I do carry: 2 Calvi wallets, sunglasses in soft case, iPhone XS, 2 lippies in a small bag, reading glasses. And right now I can carry a very small hand sanitizer in a baggie and a mask. But I have to take out the readers or sunnies.

It depends on how you are going to use the bag. If this is my choice and this is going to be my only Kelly, I would pick a 25 just because it is easier to transition it from day to night. It will not fit much but it would fit your basics like what @1gunro mentioned above. Either color is neutral enough and should work with most outfits.

I'll add to that!! I can barely fit a louis vuitton full sized wallet in my 28 sellier. I think its a fantastic sized bag, but any smaller would not be very functional imo.
I'm in full agreement, I have never been into the small bag craze. 28 all the way for me too, retourne or sellier.
28 gold if it’s going to be your only kelly. 25 is cute right now because of the small bag trend. But for an only kelly size, 28 would be perfect for small or big bag trend as the 28 is the mid of those trends that come and go.
