Although I have quite a few really special bags and feel lucky to have them, I still think the crinoline from 2009 is my very favorite. That day was also probably the most amazing Hermes experience I have ever had as well, especially since it came so much out of the blue and in a boutique with which I had absolutely no history.

You are so lucky!!! You must have got sth attracted the SA or maybe ur manner. Good to hear all the happy story. Wish I can have 1 to share in my future. =)

You missed it... Paris list opened in Feb for 2 days only. I was told that they no longer take orders from people they do not know. We were there and we ordered bags but only us, other people were not offered. This is to stop resellers getting bags for resale.

Like other members have mentioned, there are few times where there are bags but they are kept in the back. On my last trip business I was after a very specific bag and the store shown me several bags that are dream bags for many but either the size, leather (even an exotic) or hardware was not what I was looking for. I think building a rapport with SAs from the onset really helps and of course luck.

Crinoline Birkin it's my favourite! More than croc, more than barenia. I could never ever part from this bag! And yours it's even nicer than mine!

Costa---thank you so much---but don't we have the same etoupe crinoline birkin? I thought we were bag twins... I think yours is equally as nice as mine! Plus you have another crinoline bag, no? You have an amazing collection!

Unfortunately I don't have the same bag. My Birkin is Ebene Crinoline and I also have a Trim in dark brown Barenia amd crinoline.

I think DiamondS have one like yours in Etoupe and Crinoline

costa, ebene and crinoline would be GORGEOUS! And I think more rare. And you have a barenia and crinoline trim. These are incredible!

I just came back from a four day trip in Paris. On my first day, within 2 hrs of landing I got a Kelly 28cm retourne in orange Togo. It's one of my dream bags. I couldn't believe my luck! Then over the next 2 days (Sunday's closed) I got a Lime Jige Élan and a Kelly cut in Vert Fonce Croc. The SAs from all three stores told me now there's a one bag/year limit, either B OR K, and the Kelly cut counts as a Kelly. Luckily I had a friend with me who let me use her quota. I suspect the quota only applies to walk-ins like me though. I'm sure VIP customers are not under the same restrictions.

I think it was just over 10K before the 10% tax refund. There were two and I had to choose btwn vert Fonce and orange!! A very tough choice, believe me!

Thanks for the info. That is a hard decision! I wouldn't know which to pick either, but since you got an orange kelly already, vert fonce is a great choice.
