I love Frye boots. I have had mine for years and they just keep getting more and more comfortable. Those bags are pretty awesome. Will probably last a lifetime too!

I bought a pair of Frye boots this past season and I adore them. I expect to wear them for a long time.

indiaink said:^ true... if they still have it when I wake up tomorrow, it shall be mine. Not that I'm going to bed right now, mind you, but I need to step back and take a breath. tPF can do that to you, you know - here I was minding me own business suddenly I want a bag I never knew existed until 5 minute prior - .![]()
So what did you decide?
Nordstroms Rack often has Frye bags
GMTA - I went last night and my local NR hardly has a thing worth even looking at. I know at one time in the past they had Frye bags ... but not right now, more's the pity.
indiaink said:Well, I decided to get the Frye Brooke satchel - they were now sold out on Zappos, but I found the brown on Shoebuy.com - (who is still having that lovely 15% off with SPRING15 and another 5% for new member discount) - so I got this lovely for $200.22, rather than the full $248. Of course, shoebuy has free return shipping, so it's a win-win! I'll post pics of MY Brooke when she arrives... I'm excited - it's a small bag, but I honestly don't carry a lot - and from what I can determine this bag only weighs 1 lb...![]()
They're not abused in the way that Free People sometimes pre-wears stuff for you (once I bought a pair of boots that just had this oily grime on it - ugh, is that hip now?!). I have the Cameron satchel too and it's more just the dye job. I think it'll still look great in years! Definitely a bit heavy but briefcase-like satchels usually are, right?indiaink said:It is SO funny that they are making bags that look abused right out of the gate, when they are known for longevity... What will these bags look like in 20 years?
I've never had a bag - when I've checked them out at NR, they've been heavier than I like to carry, but they are SO well-made. Definitely something you'll hand down to a relative.![]()
