Just discovered Frye bags

I saw some on Overstock.com and am really lusting over them!

shoebuy.com has Frye - and the Brooke in particular - they are having a sale today, 15% and free shipping with code SPRING15 - I am tempted, they've got the Brooke in a lovely brown ...

Wow yes, I see that now... I'm really considering going for it at Zappos (they've got it in that burnt red), free shipping both ways if I don't like it - it looks 'small', but I don't carry a ton - what I have will work in this little bag - it would be a nice break...

What say you, QueenLouis? Should I go for it? You got me started on this ... it's all your fault....

It is a smaller bag than I usually carry, but I can still get all my basics in it, just a smaller wallet and a smaller extras pouch.

As I see it, Zappos is no-risk with the free shipping and free returns. If it's not for you, it's a simple return and you aren't out any money to have tried it on.

Not that I'm going to bed right now, mind you, but I need to step back and take a breath. tPF can do that to you, you know - here I was minding me own business suddenly I want a bag I never knew existed until 5 minute prior - .

Oooh...I knew they made boots but had no idea they ventured into bags as well. They look all nice and vintage-y =) Don't know how I feel about the bag on the left of the first picture though. It looks TOO beat up...

I just saw a frye bag yesterday at Macy's and the leather feels really sturdy. I might just have to go back to macy's and purchase it!

QueenLouis, gorgeous bags, I am in love with your brown Brooke. Really beautifully distressed ruggedness on both.

Hope I can get one from Overstock but with my luck, they'll run out by the time I'm ready to and I'll have to wait. O is great for handbags if you search them frequently. They just restocked a Rioni bag I was thought I missed out on, so I had already bought that yesterday, oh well!

I have a pair of black oily leather mules (belted harness mule) from Frye that I've just broken in and they are so comfy now. Frye leather is just excellent quality.

Just found this print ad from 1977 that I thought you might enjoy - that was the deal, back then, had to have those boots... and I love how the ad says "write for free brochure". Dinosaur ages, huh?

Oh, I remember! I had a pair of boots that I doubt were Frye but they looked like it and to me, they were Frye.

Just ordered this from Bloomingdales.com with F&F! I saw it two days ago at macys and kept thinking about it! Macy's.com didnt have it so I ended up just getting it at bloomies! Can't wait to get it!
