Just Bought a fake Alexander Wang on ebay (and didn't receive it yet)

TPF may earn a commission from merchant affiliate
links, including eBay, Amazon, and others

Let's hope that the seller did ship the bag and you receive it in the next day or so..

Upon your suspicions that the bag is not authentic, also hope that the seller

will not give you a hard time and just tell you to return the bag so you won't

have to open a case with ebay as you may have to get a third party to

authenticate the bag...

As suggested above, when returning this bag, insure & request signature

Keep us posted
thanks, thanks!!! Yes, I'll keep you posted for sure!

thanks a lot for your advice! I payed with Paypal, so I feel a bit more safe...Yes, the seller gave a lot of details, this is because I convinced the bag was ok...but I was wrong...

Unfortunately, everyday fakes turn up in the marketplace.

It happens... You will take the necessary steps to get your money
back & let's hope the seller will be cooperative & make this easy
all the way around.

I know you have concerns about this, but just wait til the bag
arrives & if you need any additional help to know how you should
proceed if the seller isn't cooperative, we can all guide you here
on the forum as to what you need to do next... so try not to
worry (easier said than done, I'm sure)

And since you paid with paypal, you are protected

I have a question. Are youg going to have to pay duties or fees on the item? Can you just refuse the package? Then the item will get sent back to the seller. Just thinking of other ways to deal with this issue. I'm no expert in dealing with things like this.

No duty between EU countries:smile1:

thanks for your advice, but as limom already answered, there is no duty between EU countries...(fortunately! at least, a problem away...)

Lucky for you (well, maybe in cases other than this). I've had to pay hundreds of dollars on something from Canada, which is so close to where I live! I hope it all works out for you!

I mentioned filing with Ebay because the seller stated in their listing that they accepted returns. Ebay should hold them to that. A seller that accepts returns can't pick and choose the reasons. They accept returns for any reason. IMO it is PP that seems to require letters from third party authenticators.

Yes, I read in another thread here that paypal ask an authenticator's letter, so it's better filing to Ebay! you're right. Furthermore, If the seller stated that he accepts returns, I have some possibility to have my refund..! Before posting my thread here, I didn't' see that he states so. thank you

What is the best way for the OP in order to avoid having to pay shipping charges to return the item?
