It is very strange how the online store works. I was explained by Ana that they don't hold online inventory and that they basically just locate it for you at a store. She implied that there was a chance that some items would be missing :(

Anyone have info on online purchases?

Hello ladies. I ordered the medium rame veneta today. The bag doesn't show on the sale link anymore. It was sitting in my cart yesterday and decided to finally purchased it today. Does that mean it's sold out even if they charge it to my card. I will be so sad if I don't get it.

I got the email showing my order summary immediately after I "paid" but have not received the confirmation email. Only when you get the confirmation email then you know your order is put through.
I ordered last night Fri at 12AM online and I called right now Sat 12:30 noon the 646 number on the order summary and the lady told me they are still processing orders from Thursday. They probably won't be able to confirm until later tonight or Tuesday. All I can do is keep my fingers crossed.

Call your cc and ask if the charge has been approved. I called Amex this morning and it had been submitted and approved but not coming up when I looked at my cc account online.

How could they be processing orders from Thursday if the sale didn't start online until Friday? interesting......
 
My SA had a wait list for it and a customer ready to snatch it up as soon as I let go.

She actually told me that the blue bleeds and fades. Something with the dye, but the store has had some customer complaints.... so better off. I did love the color, but went to Saks on my way home from work and the medium was just way too small. And I'm 5'4 and tiny.

:wtf: Oh no, now I am scared that my cobalt will bleed/fade!!! :sweatdrop: For such an expensive bag & coming from a big luxury house, there shouldn't be any problems whatsoever! :s
 
The NYC store people were fantastic to me yesterday and they were crazy busy! I called early in the morning to ask about an orange Veneta, the girl on the phone (they had one person just doing phones!) said they'll call me back. Later an SA called to tell me no orange Venetas, but they have a red maxi left and he'll hold it for me. I was uncertain, since I have a lot of red already, but he said he'll hold it anyway. I got there within an hour, decided to not take the red, bought two pairs of shoes and a little clutchy bag instead. He even took the time to show me a bag that I told him I bought sight unseen over the phone from Nordstrom. There was actually a somewhat rude couple in there who interrupted the SA and me while we were talking, insisting on him (that SPECIFIC SA) helping them right away, since they were in a hurry. Not sure if they expected him to just leave me mid-sentence. I was somewhat taken aback, so told him to go ahead, I'm not in a hurry and I can browse that store all day. But he brushed them off nicely and finished with me first. Great service, I thought!
