No, not to worry. With all the buying going on, be patient and one of those lovely Baltic Venetas will show up on Ebay. Give it a couple of weeks. Don't despair!! People will be doing some selling to fund their purchases.

It can't be that bad with that little cutie in your avatar! I swear, I just want to pinch his cheeks!!! LOL

No worries, I am patient. If it's meant to be it's meant to be. Maybe I should've picked the belly after all and the lg capri is just not meant to be!

He's quite a handful, so do not be fooled by his deceiving charm!! But yes, they are the sunshine of my life!

That is not acceptable, minismurf04! I never thought to say, please mark my name on this one and put it away... because I do not have a boutique nearby - closest is in Chicago - I have to do all ordering via phone. Everything that I have ever ordered has been perfect. This sale was certanly frenzied though and there was lots of chances for mistakes, etc. You should return it if you are displeased with the condition. Didn't I read a few pages back that purse whore wanted a nero Roma, and they set aside a nero capri for her? You might be able to find out where that one is and arrange a trade.

Kristsa is a doll. I changed my mind about the medium cobalt veneta today (too small) and she managed to find me a large veneta in copper rame instead. She was very honest about some of the problems people have had with the blue and which size was best for me. Giver her a call!

Thank you ladies, I will call Krista tomorrow and see what my purse fate has in store for me! ^_^ Of course, after calling my SA and see how she can rectify this situation...I hope this FINAL SALE thing isn't going to apply when I try to return it..err..that would make me PRETTY MAD.

My SA had a wait list for it and a customer ready to snatch it up as soon as I let go.

She actually told me that the blue bleeds and fades. Something with the dye, but the store has had some customer complaints.... so better off. I did love the color, but went to Saks on my way home from work and the medium was just way too small. And I'm 5'4 and tiny.

Good luck! I went to the NYC store today and a woman was buying the same style and color you need. The SA said it was the last one, but it's hope that there could be more out there.

I have to be honest, that the SA's in the NYC store were very rude when I was there today. I know they were busy, but two of them blew me off to walk over to people who looked like they might buy more. I just wanted to know if they could search for a large bag for me, so that I could cancel the medium before I was charged, as it's final sale. Fortunately, I called Krista on my way home and she was very nice!

But there is one very nice SA named Roland (who I didn't see today), who called around various stores for my yesterday and actually found the med. blue I let go. You might want to try him.

You are so cool! Thanks for posting this. I got to find a bag that my SA told me was sold out nation-wide. And then I saw one that I have never seen before! But at the same time... I ended up spending another $2K on bags.... damn... I cannot believe I spent over $5K in one week :wtf: It will take me a long time to recover from this :faint: I am on a BV binge....I need help!

you mean further off after the 50%? I asked my SA the same question and she said no. Most bags are either going back to original price after Monday or they will be sent out of the stores to warehouses (namely the noce, other blacks and browns). Some will remain in the boutiques for another month until they sell. Lastly they will end up at the outlets. But do not quote me on this because this is just coming from one SA. Someone else chime in?

It is very strange how the online store works. I was explained by Ana that they don't hold online inventory and that they basically just locate it for you at a store. She implied that there was a chance that some items would be missing :(

Anyone have info on online purchases?

That is upsetting.
I got all happy for a minute there when I placed the order and got the email confirmation. But what you said sounds right... unless there is a warehouse where the online orders ship out of...otherwise they probably pull from the stores.
