Just catching up real quick...

I've been told that no additional discount will be done. AFter the sale is over, remaining unsold sale items will be shipped to warehouses in Italy. Eventually things are shipped to the outlets, but this is not immediate.

They still have quite a few wallets in SF. I also saw three mini-capris, two in ebano and one in nero. They had the seamless tote in ebano that a customer put back.

The SAs are incredibly stressed and busy. If you want something in particular, ask for it by name and color; they seem far too busy to do generic searches, say for "all wallets". There were over 50 people in the store at once the other day; they actually had to lock the doors for a few minutes.

I picked up a huge haul today, but have been swamped and may not have time to post pics for a while. :yahoo:

I just order a couple of SLGs from the online store. These were supposed to be sold out at boutiques. I'll let you know if I get a "sold out" email from Ana.

I hope they'll be shipped to Woodbury Commons end June when I'm there :graucho:

It is very strange how the online store works. I was explained by Ana that they don't hold online inventory and that they basically just locate it for you at a store. She implied that there was a chance that some items would be missing :(

Anyone have info on online purchases?

This sounds correct--a similar thing happened to me. I wanted to buy my antilope Knot about a month ago, and BV-online showed it as being ready to purchase--I even added it to an online shopping cart. I contacted my SAs at BV boutiques to make the purchase, and they both told me it was completely sold out in the US. One of my SAs contacted the buyer (or maybe Ana?) about why it was showing up online as ready to buy, and to make it available to me if there was existing stock somewhere. The response was that the online item description was out of date. Later that same day, I saw that the webpage had been updated to show the antilope Knot was "sold out" (so I bought it at Neiman's instead).

I just called my store and spoke to the manager. She sounded like she just wanted to get me off the phone. She told me without checking that "it's sold out within the company" and that I could bring the bag in for her to see and for a refund. I'm sooooo mad...after all the money that I've blown at this store, I'd expect more from them!!

I'm so sorry this happened to you. It's frustrating when SAs are rude, no matter how busy they are. During the big Saks sale, I worked with a bag SA in NYC who was always nice and helpful no matter how many people she was dealing with. And trust me, she was busier than BV.... so being swamped is no excuse. Are you going to return the bag? No matter how good the price is, if you're unhappy with it, return it.

I also got the cold shoulder in the NY store yesterday after buying from them the day earlier. And I wanted another bag to swap for the medium hobo. I told them exactly what I wanted and in which color and they walked away to talk to two tourists who were looking at the full price bags still available. Not right.

I'm going now to show them the bag and see what they can do about it. I really would like to keep it but I'm normally really picky about my bags and those things bother me to pieces esp knowing that I purchased it NEW and not GENTLY USED! KWIM??!!

I can't believe that being a manager she couldn't have been more tactful and understanding. It's not about the refund, it's about the BAG!! And irks me even more that she didn't even try to rectify the problem by CKING INVENTORY or trying to locate me another black bag! I'm sooooo mad. Err. Hate being blown off over the phone since I didn't give them my 2cents!

Waiting until Scottsdale store is open to call. Btw NYCshopgirl, my store is the Manhasset store. From what I can tell, the one with the most experience is Georgia, but when I started buying, it was Shadi who helped me and she was new at the time but equally nice just not as expierenced and I think most stuff I ask her she has to ask her manager. Maybe I should just switch stores to NYC. They were pretty nice when I went in to look..but have not dealt with them at all since the Manhasset store is so close to me!
