Does anybody know how the bags that we've ordered from the stores are shipped? I know I've done it before, but don't remember. Anything is fine with me, but I'd like to know if it's overnight (I think not) and if signature is typically required. Anyone know?

Kathy, they're shipped UPS and anything over $1000 requires a signature.

Didn't see an answer to this question: I believe bags are being shipped out today. Yay!

I have a *massive and non-negotiable* thesis deadline today so I will be offline for most of the day, but I'm taking a break in 2 hours to pickup my bags. yee-haw!

Maybe I'll see you there, Doreenjoy! I'll be there in a couple of hours as well. :p

I just spoke with Jeremy at the NYC 5th AVe store and he says they are swamped. I called for Minismurf in hopes of a Baltic Veneta for her. He did say that I might not have gotten the matita sandals as they went fairly fast, especially with my common foot size.

I had emailed Bryan in Hawaii about the Gray Matita Belly Bag before I ordered in from BV on line. Bryan had it (someone cancelled) so I took his and have to cancel the order with BV. From what I understand BV on line takes the order then has to find the bag, then they confirm and I didn't have the confirm back, so I figured this was the safest way to go. I also ordered a double row bracelet on line in metallics.

I think these sandals would look really nice since they curve and hug your legs without cutting them off visually IYKWIM

But, unfortunately or fortunately, I am too cheap to pay $300+ for a pair of flat sandals or $400+ of heels that I would wear just a handful of times. I already have silver grey Manolos sitting in my closet, waiting for to be worn.

I know I'm thrilled. I passed it by when I first saw the pics from my BV rep thinking it would be small for me. Then I checked out the thread My Matita and Sister Sloane and realized it was a bag that I loved when I first saw the thread. I was lucky to get it. Plus Bryan is so reliable I'm trying not to worry.

I really wish I could have ordered through Bryan, he was really great!! I was going to get at least one bag from him but decided to avoid customs etc. If he ever does those cheaper SO cabats, I am soo there!! I am looking forward to seeing the lovely bags and goodies you all get!!

Absolutely!! I don't remember the size, but it was big enough for glasses, cell phone, compact, etc. I had thought it would make a great evening bag, whether dressed up or down.

I posted to you in the support thread!!!:p

Just read your post and I must say you inspired me. I too played with it in the NYC store but forgot about it and then you reminded me. Called NYC but no one answered so I ordered it online.
So now I'll be all dressed up and I'll need somewhere to go!!!!!!!
