Oh no, now I am scared that my cobalt will bleed/fade!!!
For such an expensive bag & coming from a big luxury house, there shouldn't be any problems whatsoever! :s
I hadn't heard anything about the cobalt bleeding or fading before. Has anyone here on tPF experienced it first hand?
I just posted this on a different thread, but you have to be careful with blue bags in general. It's something with the dye (the BV SA also mentioned this.) I've never owned a BV blue, but have had a few Balenciaga blues. One did fade, and the other (the one in my picture) has help up quite well. As for the bleeding, it would be onto clothing. Your best bet would be to call the BV store and ask the best way to care for the bag.
I got a brand new bag this time!!!! So happy, and they were apologetic!! That was clearly NOT A NEW BAG!!My day is starting on a good note once again!!

Roland in NYC told me things might show up when "the dust settles" on Saturday. Are there any bags semi- traditional bags still out there? Or has everything for the most part been snagged? I told my mother about this sale three days ago, but NOW she wants something. TIA!
I saw some gorgeous bags in San Francisco on Friday that customers had decided against -- a seamless tote (!) in ebano, and three mini capris (2 ebano, 1 nero). Also some wallets and cosmetic cases in mela and orange.
Who knows if they are still there? If you call, I think it's best to ask for a specific item...instead of saying e.g. "Do you have any wallets left?" I think all the SAs have PTSD!

At the first few days of the presale period, once I received the accessories list, I email our Hawaii SA about some enquires and preorder 2 items (medium cosmetic pouch + 1 azure business card case). About 1 or 2 days later, I got a confirmation from the SA that is helping our Hawaii SA that she has reserved the 2 items for me and will reply on my enquires later.
Since its crazy sale period, I can understand and also add on 2 more items (medium cosmetic pouch + 1 matita business card case) for my friend.
She also did revert to mention that she has reserved all 4 items for me. Since my friend wants a curry Sloane so I asked her about it too.
One day before the sale started, I still did not get a reply so I email again. Our Hawaii SA reply that he is trying to locate the Curry Sloane and say that he has put in a request to transfer from another boutique, he asked if I am okay with waiting for confirmation but for the meantime he need my cc details to confirm the order for the 4 items that I have reserved. So I reply with my cc details.
On the day that sales start, one TPFer and I decided to combine shipping so we email the same Hawaii SA. He asked me for my cc details again so I send him again and ask for confirmation on my 4 items. Then I get shocking news that my azure business card case is gone.
So I emailed him again and told him that just one day ago, he mention that all 4 items are reserved and ask me for my cc details. But I did not get a reply so I thought that calling him will be faster and less confusing but he is on leave for 2 days.
So now I can only patiently wait for reply on my email. I hope that I will not go from 4 reserved items to 3 items to zero. :cry::cry:
