hahaha! Item 390832810133? They do mention that a "little knob" fell off.
$699, now that is very optimistic. Without the plane, I might go for $10.:graucho:
Naw, I really wouldn't want it without the plane, either.

Sad because somebody could buy it and claim SNAD because a "little knob" is not the airplane and then it would be free. Bet the seller didn't think of that:push: I wouldn't want it incomplete either but who knows, maybe someone has an extra plane lying around LOL. Does anyone else keep updating the Juicy site in hopes of new charms? I am so hoping there will be at least one more batch.

He probably doesn't realize there's supposed to be a plane there.
I hope no one buys it without realizing it's not complete. But I think at that price only a serious collector would buy it and they would be careful.

Yes, it's so disappointing.
I keep checking the JC site to see if they have added any new charms, but none yet.

Collecting JC charms has been a hobby for me for the last 5 years, and it has been a lot of fun. If they do stop making them I guess I'll be doing more shopping on ebay until I have all the older ones I've been wanting to add to my collection.

I can't believe they're going to stop producing the charms. This "sale" or "transfer of ownership" has been in the works for a long time...it doesn't just happen overnight.

That said, why would they go to the trouble of making up "samples" (if they really are samples...and I believe they are) if they're not going to sell charms anymore? It costs way more to do the prototypes and samples than to do a full production run. So why would they spend that time and money just to stop selling them? This just doesn't make sense.

Someone, somewhere, has the "right of ownership" to the Charms and I wish someone knew who it was.

I don't have any inside information, but since Kohls bought the rights to sell Juicy Couture in the US exclusively, evidently intending to sell JC jewelry, then I don't see why they would stop making the charms. The charms must be a large percentage of their jewelry sales. In fact I'm hoping there will be a new or reissue of the charm holders and other charm related pieces.

Hi Ladies,

I am new here but have collected JC charms for awhile.

I have a question for you...I just bought the JC Charm Catcher seen HERE as I wanted a new way to wear them.

Most of my charms are from 2006 and none of clasps fit over the catcher. Has anyone else had that problem?

Or do you think this catcher is a fake? It looks legit to me.

That looks like a stock photo, so can't tell. If you want you can post a photo of your charm holder in the "authenticate" thread at the top of the JC forum.

I will say this, some of the earlier charms have that small roundish clasp and they don't fit on some of the bracelets.

I know that I bought a similar charm holder that uses two rings to attach to the chain, and that one is too think for some charms. Do you have the regular charm holder, like the one in my signature? That will hold any charm.

Called SF store and was told they got their summer collection with no charms. :-( SA said they wouldn't be getting anything else as they are closing in June.

Also got email that the summer collection is up on the web but didn't find any new charms. Blah...

Just called the stores here and they haven't had any new jewelry in 5 months and the lady didn't know the stores in the US have started closing but insisted that they were staying open in this country very strange they haven't been getting anything

My local store in Alabama told me that they were not closing when I asked about it awhile ago. They just called last month to tell me they were closing though, so maybe they were kept out of the loop on purpose. I had been reading about the Kohl's thing for a bit here before I asked them, but they didn't seem to have a clue. I think my store will be one of the last to close because she said they are getting shipments in from other stores that have already closed. If one of those shipments happens to have charms, she will call, but I'm not getting my hopes up :(

I think it is the end of charms too...I went to Kohl's to see the quality of their costume jewelry and it is actually quite sad. It looks like Forever21 stuff. So even if they continued to make charms, I don't think it'll be very pretty as compared to the stuff right now.

SO SAD.

The reason I am hopeful is because I read that the whole purpose of Kohls buying Juicy is because they want to upgrade their merchandise, bringing in nicer things. And one of the articles I read mentioned they will be carrying the jewelry, so I'm hoping this will include charms...

I rather believe you to be right but Kohls always buys high end brands and turn them into low end goods.

Their last purchase was Rock and Republic which is known for their high end jeans that costs $200+. Now Kohls sells them for around $50 ish and the quality is terrible. The fit sucks and the washes look cheap. They also used to make all leather shoes (upper, insole, outsole) but Kohls now makes them entirely out of plastic.

I just doubt they will maintain the level of quality Juicy has right now. But if they are going to make jewelry, there is a good chance they will be making charms- it just won't be as nice.

Thanks for the info re: Kohls.
I hope this doesn't happen, but honestly the retail price of the JC charms in the past have been on the high side, and I think most of us here wait until they go on sale someplace.
$50 - $60+ a charm doesn't sound too bad, but when buying more than one it can add up pretty fast.
Well, still hoping for the best...
