It looks legit to me, since I have that same charm catcher. katierose has a good point about it being a stock photo, though.

As for the clasps being too small for it, I have only run into that issue with the pave pumpkin which is a newer charm from 2011. Something about the lever is different and it will NOT fit on that charm catcher nor most of my purses that have ring hardware.

Wish I'd noticed it sooner so I could have returned it to JC for a different one! I bought it after Halloween was over, though, and didn't really put it into use until the next year. By then it was too late to get a replacement. Not too much of a tragedy though, since I have other catchers to wear it with. The purse thing was the most annoying.:nogood:

Interesting about Rock & Republic.

I haven't shopped Kohl's in years, not out of snobbery, but because of their pricing and money-back coupons that only work on a return trip. They seemed to have a lot of things similar to what my local KMart & Target had, at higher prices. Then Kohl's would put them on "sale" to match the everyday prices of KMart & Target. For one example, my cousin was going to buy some Corelle dishes because he kept breaking his other ones. He mentioned Kohl's had a good "sale" on them but I showed him how that worked.

But I digress - I will be one of the first to run up to Kohls if they have some charms:shrugs:

I will miss all your stories of dropping by a JC store & posting here with results!

Actually I went a bit crazy on charms this week. I bought the cupcake, glasses, and the class ring from the 5th St. Juicy store. They had an extra 60% off because they are closing this Sunday!

I also got a nylon daydreamer for $30 dollars on the website. I feel so guilty spending the money but... the prices!!!

Edit: I also finally got this years Easter charm.

Oh, this year's Easter egg was winnah! You are so going to enjoy it!
I am lusting after both the striped cat glasses but I have the black ones from a few years back...and there are so many other older ones I'd rather have.

LOL, then again some of those older ones I thought I didn't want! Some, I even bought from Nordies (only place in town that used to sell them) and ended up returning them.

I wish I started to collect earlier! I always liked the charms but I thought I could always buy them later.

Then I noticed my outlets were starting to go out of business so I knew I had to get them before they are gone! I am not too familiar with the older charms so I don't feel comfortable buying from eBay yet. Seems to be a lot of fakes.

But yes, the bunny in the egg is so cute!

SQUEAL!!!! So I was going to wait to post until I had it in my hot little hands but I just can't. Now that it's confirmed received by the post office I'm not as worried about someone emailing the seller to sell it to them. So....I got the world globe yesterday on ebay for $40 BIN!!! :woot::woot::woot:

When it first popped up I thought I was seeing things so I went to click BIN for $40 and accidentally hit BID instead. I had to back out of that and then BIN. I was so afraid someone else would hit it before I could fix my mistake which is what happened with the royal flush last year. Then I messaged the seller asking her to ship first thing this morning and she agreed. I was hoping she would ship before it showed up on the sold listings and she did. So now I just have to keep my panties out of bunch until it gets here Monday.:yahoo::happydance:

That is fantastic S!!! SO happy you nabbed that cutie and what a price:D! Congrats and post pics when it arrives. I am so sad our charm ride is coming to an end, it has been so much fun.

LOVE!!! You have so many fabulous charms. I always love to see them displayed together and even seeing some peeking out is a treat. Your globe is beautiful and looks just at home in her new spot:D So happy you nabbed that amazing deal.

No luck on my burger and bowling pin hunt yet:shucks: I figure they will come along sooner or later, hopefully for a reasonable price. I may end up never getting them at this rate though LOL
