BTW, in the cupcake picture you posted, is that salmon colored cupcake a new charm? I only have a light pinkish-lavender and a yellow that have flowers on top. I don't know if it is just my monitor but the color looks very different.

BB, in an effort to respect my beloved JC charms I would urge you to google JayStrongwater's bio, his charms and his other beautiful items. :drool: I can say that my Leopard charm Mara has held up wonderfully. For the quality his charms are well worth the price.

The cupcake I posted is from the "Sweets" bracelet that was available over the holidays. It was one of the bracelets that came with five charms attached that were never released individually (there are slight differences in the charms on the bracelet like the color of the cupcakes frosting then the regular release charms). I'll include a stock pic I found.

Thank you for breaking down why that beautiful Cupcake charm of yours is a different color. I had no idea it was from a bracelet. By the way, that bracelet is very nice too. I like the Peppermint a lot!

Here is a pic BB of the Giraffe charm next to the JSW Giraffe charm. They are pretty close in size, sorry the clarity is not the best. My camera died and I am using my phone for pics.

GLL here is a close-up shot of the peppermint for you :smile1: It is almost identical to the regular release except a bit thinner. I also snagged the "holiday" themed bracelet when these were released and I love the charms from both.

Thanks for the answers GLL and TaterT. Oh believe me, I have been salivating at some of the JSW charms but did not know how they compared in size and more importantly, how they would hold up. I have seen some other brands of charms that are really small compared to JC charms.

TaterT, I love giraffes and have been disappointed with JC's past two giraffe charms. I know every charm can't be blingy but they could have done it with enamel. Isn't it funny how of all charms to compare, you chose those that one. Now it is a must for me. That one along with the other you showed and the peacock.

Sadly, right now I am not expecting any charms. Although I have yet to purchase the cookie jar and glasses. I was very disappointed that the last charm I purchased happened to be a fake. Even though the seller quickly refunded me, I was really hoping to add the white "Bloomin' Couture" flower pot to my collection.

Purchasing a fake can sure take the winds out of your sails I know. I never will forget getting a fake Mermaid, the first issue. The lady who gave me my first two JC charms alerted me that my charm was fake. She then helped me buy not only the real Mermaid but the bracelet watch that included the Mermaid for less than I paid for the fake! :D I love telling that story. It may take a little more time but I believe you'll find your Bloomin' Couture flower pot. :yes:

And you are welcome for the info regarding JS charms. ;)

Hi everyone :) I just got a new charm that I had been wanting for a while. It is the basket of flowers charm. However, I noticed a metal rod sticking out in the middle and I am wondering if it is a defect or missing a piece. I tried to show it on my pictures but it might be hard to tell. If anyone has any input on what it is supposed to look like, I appreciate it very very much :)

My SA just called up to let me know that they have started 50% sales in store. She mentioned that they will be closing by end of the month (since there is already a Kate Spade at that mall). I feel bad for them since they have provided pretty good service to me in the past few years.

I happen to have two. One came in a tagged box while the other came without a box. Both look the same as the one you pictured. I think it is just the way the charm is.
