^Hmmm I seem to have misplaced my gumball machine. My faves are: the engagement ring, the peach, and the elephant. I also have a cute purple bowler bag that opens. I have lots of charms, I started collecting a long time ago. Maybe I should post pics if you are all interested in seeing some of the older charms!

DollyGirl ~ Those pictures are really great! How did you get them to be so clear? I need more practice with my camera. I love the chocolate bar, I have never seen that one before. And of course the other three! You are so lucky to have them in your collection.

finally[/I] noticing. The reason it's so hard to figure out the fakes is b/c EVERY Nesting Doll charm up on ebay right at this very moment I can tell you is fake. No joke. You know how with a lot of the charms the fakes are pretty easy to spot. Well I don't know why they've decided to "perfect" the fake nesting dolls, but no one is being able to tell with the nesting doll b/c there are never any REAL ones up to compare to!

That $1,000 Rare 5 Charms auction that recently ended did have a real nesting doll in it though. Dolly's and Lvbabydoll's are obvious real ones as well.

Really sucks...

You have GOT to be kidding me, right? File a SNAD immediately!! If you think it's not authentic before your 90 days runs out. I think I've figured out a trick to tell the fake charms from the real. The clasp, examine the clasp of an authentic charm versus any that you have thoughts about. I have one right now that I am looking over from a *bay-er and I'm starting to feel my blood boil. Karma is a b**ch tho, that's what I always keep in mind. If you are selling fake things on *bay that you fully know are not truely authentic and making tons on money it will come back and bite you square where the sun don't shine. :cursing:

I'm going to goofbay flyingdagger8, right? Also, goofbay the person that won that auction for the 5 charms, holy crap! That's all I can say! Check out the charms they've gotten, I am so jealous... and all the AFI stuff... :p

Hey, try the macro setting if you camera has one, it makes the pictures come out super clear up-close!

i have the nesting doll (which is my favorite - i love how it pops open!), the baseball mit (i love my red sox), a poker chip, and the cupcake :)

my mom buys me a charm for xmas or my birthday each year - ive never actually purchased one for myself. her mother (my grandma, who passed away) collected charms, so i think its my moms way continuing the tradition. im hoping she buys the coo-coo clock next, or the mailbox with the love letter :)

Hello, I'm new and just started collecting, though i've been a fan of Juicy charms for a long time, they're so cute:heart: Anyway, the 3 i want most of all are rare and probably impossible to buy:sad: They are the Wedding cake, Russian nesting doll and Caviar. i was wondering if someone could tell me what year these 3 came out and what would be reasonable price for them now? I can only think of finding them on Ebay but i dont know whats a good price.

tuffcookie- aw, that's so nice of your mom to do that! I love the baseball mitt, it's so cute!

RussianDoll- Welcome! The wedding cake and nesting doll came out in early 2006 I believe and the caviar charm was in 2005 sometime. I had gotten them from the stores when they came out (well, the first caviar was for my aunt, but I had to get my mom's from ebay about a year later).
The cake will be around $100, nesting doll will be about $200 (be VERY careful of this one though, RaquelleBelle just found out she got a fake one ) and the caviar is hard to judge because there aren't many around for sale anymore. I had a third one and sold it about a year ago for $140-ish though.

Thanks Lvbabydoll. I remember seeing the nesting doll in a store a while back. Still cant believe i didnt buy it:push:
If you know of some good honest sellers you could recommend that would be helpful:smile1: Ive had a bad experience where the seller never sent my item, so im worried about buying things that are more expensive on there.
