Now THAT is one Beautiful Charm!

I am new here (2nd post, I think) so possibly I do not have the right to say too much, but I'm very leery of Juicy Charms on eBay. A few months ago there was a Pink Masquerade Mask I thought was beautiful, but hadn't heard about it before. (Am also relatively new to collecting the Charms.) Anyway, I emailed the seller to ask if it was "Authentic" or not.

This was her reply:

Juicy Couture Jewery is made in China. I purchase these charms directly from these supplier via internal sale. There is no misprint but they are not authentic.=) :confused1:

She is a seller from the US but her English sounded/read more like Oriental. Needless to say, I did not bid. But it WAS pretty.

The Nesting Doll is on eBay again, but it looks pale compared to other one's I've seen. Anyone know if it's real or fake?

Wish I had known how addicting these can be....Lord, I've spent a fortune in the past 6 months! Is there a smiley with money flying out of it's fist? jeeeezzz.....

Sorry to take up so much of your time...you all seem sweet...and you LOVE JC Charms as much as I do!! Have a beautiful day, and don't forget to pick up the Yorkie Devil Charm. So cute and very limited. Nordstrom still has them on their site, so if you have any Nordstrom Notes, they're only $28.00!

Bye for now...I'll just read. :smile1:

hi everyone. I am a big collector of juicy charms and I am wondering about the nesting doll. How do you know it is fake. I just bought some of ebay and it looks real, I had a real one before, but my husband sold it on ebay. Boy did we argue about that deal! however, he finally replaced it but now I don't know if it is fake. It is weird how they are popping up so many at a time. Also, is that flat ring with a ring inside a charm that came out before? I've never seen that one in the stores or online. Is it just coming out? thanks everyone

Hello! I have fallen madly in love with these Juicy Charms, and yes, like some of you I remember having the little plastic charms so that may be a contributing factor for my new obsession.

with almost three hundred of the charms listed-- many are dated, most are confirmed. Let me know what you think, and let me know which charms I may have to find.
I have tried to use stock photos whenever possible (which I have been approved of to use from Juicy) but find so many other photos to be more flattering then the boring old stock photos. I am waiting for Juicy to authenticate the "rarest" pieces. Thanks for your help in advance!

Nice blog pictures GondolaGirl! I enjoyed looking at all of those Juicy Charms! Thanks for sharing. If only I had the Mermaid... I'd be done with my JC charm collection-for the most part. :)

That last charm, the Victorian hand, is just creepy!

I don't think that any globe was released in 2008 (people would've been all over it, I'm sure) - that may be the opposite side of the world traveler charm. Also, I think it was established that the pink flower ball was a fake charm that non-Juicy people came up with all on their own. And the giraffe charm isn't from 2007 - it may be a future release?

You might want to ask in the bigger Juicy thread, as more people there can help out. :)

i posted this in the other juicy thread but for anyone who wanted the nesting doll the juicy couture store in aventura mall (florida) has it. i was in there yesterday looking at the charms and saw it

The nesting doll and the buble gum machine in pink were re-released. I don't know if they are exactly the same or the changed some of the details. I know that the rare bubble gum machine was blue, now it is pink.

Ok, so what "new" ones should we add to the list? Even though they are not super-old, some are still fetching high prices on the bay, and will probably only keep climbing from here on out.

Limited Edition Gingerbread House

Hope the blowfish is rare because i paid lots of lettuce for that. Don't regret it either because it's my favorite charm and he's too cute. I also have the jewelry box looks kinda worn, but in good conditions. But on my list of wishlist are the pave peppermint and enamel cherries charms. Definitely will buy the cherries, but thinking about the peppermint.

I guess the list will change over time, especially with Juicy Couture re-releasing some of the older charms like the Chinese Take Out Box. Also I think some charms are rare but not really in demand so they're not as valuable.

Right now I see the following as "Rare" & "Valuable" charms.

Elephant with Jewel
Baseball Bat
Baseball Glove
Swan Prince
White Bunny
Poison Apple
Red White Blue Popsicle
Mermaid
Seahorse
Jack o Lantern
Ghost
Fawn
Reindeer
Cherry Pie
Picnic Basket
Peach
Roulette Wheel
Slot Machine
Royal Flush
Caviar
Tiara in the case
Igloo
Older Globe
Snowglobe
Blowfish
Blue & Pink Rubber Duckies
Yorkies around the fire hydrant
Handcuffs
Sled
Skis
Fortune Cookie
Toy Yorkie
MoP guitar
Nutcracker
Pink Pave T-Shirt

What did I leave out?
