The Diane L20 is now available in Harmonie leather. It’s a beautiful leather!
If I learn more about how Harmonie leather will wear with this design, I’ll update TPF’ers.:flowers:
wasn't it already available before? when I posted here back in March it's a Diane L20 :flowers:
I'm going to Paris next month. I'm gonna inspect these luscious bags and report back :coolio:

Thank you for your input. It was available, but I forgot.
Please report back. The more real-life reports—the better.

* About Harmonie — It has a lovely sheen, and the leather is more protected than Heritage. When it comes to the leather sides (that are used as feet for the bag), it’ll take a long time for that to start bending. It’s structurally sound, like the Heritage leather.
I have a pouch made from Harmonie. It is beautiful. It’s less drummed than Heritage.
I appreciate Heritage because of the stories the leather tells over time, and the beautiful patina it achieves. It sounds like I can’t go wrong with either.

Just saw this on Carla Bruni's instagram a one of a kind Ramesh Nair-for-JD passementerie strap for her guitar!!! My kids (both guitar players) were sooo jealous

Seen the leather up close. Textured leather pattern is very unique (I think it's exclusively made for Duclos) and looks like a great daily bag
I loved reading your thoughts about hand-carried bags on another media. I included my thoughts (in a comment) about their obsolescence caused by the urban lifestyle evolution. I’d like to see a resurgence of handheld ‘purse-size’ bag options.

Off-topic, yet on-topic — in an earlier TPF post, I commented on JD’s flap bags being the company’s design emphasis. Here’s my thought — to create more choices — a petite Lectoure tote?

The H GP30 is extremely popular. I think a Lectoure pm could be popular, too. The only size L tote available is (mostly) hand-carried, and I think a wonderful alternative to the brand’s shoulder-carry flap bags, but it’s also a bit large. I’d buy a Lectoure pm in multiple colors, throw an insert inside for a little structure, and love forearm/hand-carrying it.

You’ve seen the L tote irl. Did it seem a little large to carry as a ‘purse’? Or was it just right? Do you think a smaller version could do well?

If anyone else would like to comment, I’m interested in what you think, too.

Love the petit Lectoure tote idea. I am not a fan of flap bags for everyday or giant totes. And the idea of a 30CM small bag, like the GP, makes so much sense. I hope they listen to your idea (Ramesh, are you reading this post? Please make small totes for us with cross body straps that connect on the sides of the bag, not the handles). I'll be in Paris in December and plan on buying a JD bag! Hoping for more choices at that time, though I am quite sure I will find something even without new models.

Hello thebaghag, may I ask it it fits the iphone pro or pro max without a case? And which color caught your eye more? I am having a very hard time on deciding which color to get, thanks so much!
I am also obsessing over this bag and would love to see more photos of it and especially of its capacity if possible! Thank you ❤️

hello, just wondering if it's the lighting here that makes the bag look darker... the photos on the website show a bright (almost shocking) blue that I'm after.

Thanks!
Hi, I think the colours on the site and the post are quite consistent, its not a shocking blue, but more a deep, vibrant blue. However, since its heritage leather (natural, vegetal tanned with little to no coverage) the colour will evolve & gain a patina over time and with use. So if you’re looking for a particular shade and want it to remain fixed for all time, this is not the leather for that purpose.
having said that, its a gorgeous colour and will deepen and become more saturated as it gains a patina. The leather itself is to die for… i recently got a Diane messenger bag in bleu de cocagne and I’m so happy with the way its evolving

@thebaghag's Saint-Clair with the Passementerie strap. Annoyingly pretty. lol. Now I'm torn whether I should get this one or the camel version.

Such a wonderful photo
love the way the blue nubuck glows against the green foliage, and the passementerie strap is stunning… i wonder if the width of the strap worn cross body is a plus in terms of comfort, or does it feel awkwardly wide when worn just on one shoulder ?

The reason I’m asking is I have narrow shoulders & hate it when straps keep slipping off. At the same time, I’m not a fan of the cross body look unless I’m in a crowd and prioritise security over aesthetics

I have just placed an order for the Saint-Clair mini clutch. I have sent an email asking about what can it fit and the digital manager very kindly showed me it could fit an iphone pro max, 2 slim card holders and a lipstick easily. I cannot wait to unbox it!
