Would it help to call them with the banking info, and ask that they cover any associated transaction fees? This is all their fault after all! I'm thinking that might be better than email, and would be more like calling a merchant and giving your credit card over the phone.
thank you
I feel that this could be the best option since i can not come up with anything better...
I should be a wire after all (considering how expensive and how long it takes my bank to process a check).... just trying to come up with the secure way to give JD all that info (phone sounds reasonable) ... and I'm hoping that it won't be misuse by JD...

Thank you.
Just called my bank.... they agree that emailing banking info is not the safest...
maybe i can ask JD to issue me a check... but there is a fee ($40) to deposit (because it'll be a foreign bank) and it takes up to 6 weeks to clear ... incoming wire also have a fee ($10) ...
i don't have any venmo / zelle accounts ( i know... I know....)
Now i have to deal with this nightmare.. so frustrating ... and JD were silent about it (grr) till I had to contact them yesterday

I do think JD should be able to override their payment system... (by involving the vendor) to process refund....
I wish they could at least give it a good try
I think that JD should be doing anything they can to circumvent this situation. Again, if you didn't
reach out specifically after they told you they were having an in house meeting & that you would
receive your refund.. why the runaround now? Again, JD should be doing the right thing here
How they process & reconcile their inhouse bookkeeping is not your issue.. it's just an excuse
& all your fees should be covered as a courtesy & a professional one at that

I called Amex.... it is true that vendor is unable to issue refund after 120 days... I wish myself and JD were aware of this earlier...

JD is suggesting to use Gmail (confidential mode) to provide my banking info
I proposed a phone call but didn't hear back...

i wonder if i should use gmail confidential mode or what;s up... (what's up is supposedly encrypted) ...
oh boy, i didn't expect this additional 'project'
today lol
