All this talk of the scents is making me want to dig up the samples I received last year. I'm owning up to the fact that I have a basic bish taste in fragrance. I gave away any of the samples that have amber or oud in them. Though I do have to admit, that vibe goes well with the JD aesthetic.
I cannot do "amber" in scents - wayyy too sweet, a good oud though, all day everyday...lol

Does anyone wear Diane L20 with Passementerie strap? I love that strap but wonder if it'll be too overpowering for L20....
I think It looks simply perfect with L26 (from proportions point of view).

I would not - but that's just me. I found it overwhelming on my L26 and put the skinnier, black, standard, strap on for crossbody. I am thinking the Pat strap will go well with the L30.

Hi all JD lovers. I feel like we need to start a new thread for lovers of this brand only. No negative comments, no attacking the brand. Just honest talk about the bags, design and Ramesh. And that would include issues too, nobody is saying this brand is perfect. I am thinking about this as this thread has a tendency to totally stress me out when people come in here just to attack. I don't usually mind negative comments but these feel like an attempt to sully the JD reputation for nefarious reasons.
I think it’s important to know the good and bad of this (and every) brand. As someone new to the brand, I value both sides of it. That said I had a virtual appointment and the gorgeous designs shocked me. Ordered a Diane clutch can’t wait til it’s delivered.

Where’s the bag?

I wonder why they used this as the first picture to launch the new Saint-Clair bag. The model’s skirt is the same color as the bag and the shot is too far.

Oh well. In any case, I’m excited. We will probably be seeing the new model (and the price) soon on the website.
Very excited to see this in more detail. It does look rather smaller than I had imagined.

Thanks for info. I fear 20 is going to rule me out.
I fell in love with this bag at the trunk show. Not only was it gorgeous, the craftsmanship was the best of all the JD bags, IMHO. That said, it's very small. I feel if they made a 24mm/26mm it would be better for everyday use. As an evening bag, it was too casual. So I found it to not fit into my handbag needs though I loved it. And again, the construction is mind blowing it's so good.

I agree with all of the above, except i only saw it virtually - who knows, maybe they will find a way to do a 28cm/26cm down the road.
