I E-Mailed my contact at JD about the strap (length and if it’s adjustable), dimensions, and USD price. Their first (Lectoure) tote is in nubuck bull skin. The Fontélie looks like it’s made of pebbled/clemence-ish calfskin.
I think it also has Gaby/Moynat Voyage vibes, but better. I'm intrigued....One other design question that comes to mind is if the bag lurches outward a wee bit, like the H 24 bag, when shoulder carried. Both have a lower rear-side shoulder strap placement. The Fontélie’s placement looks higher, so that should help with the angle.And the handle placement seems like it would improve the way the bag is balanced

• available (beginning next week) in four colors. I am waiting to hear what colors (besides the two in trunkdevil’s photos).

• I have yet to find out if the strap is removable, but it is adjustable. The shortest strap drop is: 70cm (27.5”); the longest is: 75 (29.5”).
That seems a bit long to me.

I wonder if the strap dimensions they gave you are the length rather than the drop?

I have a hard time telling the difference. Not sure about Moynat Gaby either. I think Hermes Togo and Clemence are natural texture not embossed (but I’m not sure).So far, here’s what I’ve been told.

• Yes! Trunkdevil captured them all — Auburgine, Taupe, Dark Gray, and Light Gray.

That makes sense. I’m sure we will be able to tell when modeled photos are released.
Once the bag is released, I’ll ask more questions. I’m curious, too.
Moynat Gaby is natural (like Togo), Gabrielle is embossed.
This JD looks natural to me but as @Sourisbrune says we will know more next week.
