PLus she looks happy in her photos, that's what counts.
I wear anywhere from a 0 to a 4, but usually a 2. I weigh 105 pounds. My backside looks like that, if not worse! Some of us just weren't blessed with a perfect behind no matter what we do.
And if you also notice, she is standing rigid with her backside tight. This position shows up cellulite big time, even if you hardly have any. She is not standing in a flattering position. That's why if you look at Playboy the girls usually have their bottoms sticking out and their back arched. Certain positions flatter the body more, and the lighting can make a world of difference. I guess if I wanted to prove my point I could post pics of my own ass in two different positions, but I'm not that bold.

I don't think her message was strong at all.

Having read entirely through this thread, I am now EXTREMELY worried about the psychological health of the young girls in America and I am willing to bet that the majority of comments regarding her size have been made by women under 25.
Having said that, I have a message for young women... please find something more meaningful to define yourself than your weight.

Not really a fan of her but i dont see whats the big deal about the pics. its a shame how the media kept making a big deal out of it. i think she looks great and if shes happy with herself then thats what matters. You can see why some girls crave to be a size 0 as the media poke fun at people who have put on a little bit of weight. she healthy and thats the main thing!
If size 2 looks like that, no wonder a lot of girls want to be size 0!
I am a size 2 and I look just like her from behind. I am only 21 but i have a thick butt and thighs, but I am short so I'm not big at all. When I complain my friends always say to shut up Remember, it's all proportional. JLH is only 5ft 2in. She is very small even though she looks heavy, she is not.
She looks very much like a size 2 to me. Size has to with exactly that, size, not amount of fat. For a 5ft 10in runway model to fit into a size 2 she would have to be bone thin, but that is not case if you're barely over 5feet. I bet if JLH was 100% in shape she'd be smaller than a 0. The point she is trying to make is that NO ONE is perfect and that women shouldn't be ashamed of their bodies.
I am really surprised at the number of negative comments about her from TPF members! I think she did exactly the right thing.
OMG, I cannot believe two of the comments I've read! So rude!!!!!! C'mon people! Saying, "if that's a size 2 no wonder so many want to be a size 0?" WTF??? Maybe a joke, but still very uncalled for and offensive.
My statement is merely to try to put some humor in this subject. I'm 5'2" and size 2, just like her, so I myself can understand why she can be upset because, let's face it, those are not very attractive pictures of her and they are out there for everyone to see and make fun of FOREVER!!! Size 2 may not sound big, but it can look big for someone whose petite, like myself, so I know, especially when cameras put at least 10 more pounds on you. Since I'm very petite, I do want to be size 0 because it just fits my frame better than size 2.
Again, I apologize to those people that I have offended. I'm sure I'm not the only one around here that thinks the same way, I just happened to voice out what most people maybe be thinking out loud.
