She could be a size 2....I'm a size 2 and people wouldn't believe it because I have skin hanging around my stomach from childbirth and an 80 lb weight loss. If people saw my stomach exposed, they'd say I was fat. I'm always told how tiny I am. Regardless of what size she is, I think she's lovely.

Just the fact that people wait for unflattering photos of celebrities and then post them with references to "fat" and how much she must have been overeating, etc. demonstrates why so many women hate their bodies. It is never good enough. Women are berated if they have hips or curves or cellulite. Even Kate Moss had photos of her horrible "cellulite" all over the internet (I don't know if the pics were doctored or not), so a woman can't win even if she is stick-thin. It is no wonder people have unrealistic expectations for their bodies - none of the bodies we love are ever real (they are photoshopped and trimmed and contoured and totally fake).

If this is a size 2. Size 00 is even too much for me. I want to be a size 00000000....well maybe size 00000

I like her, love her show but I don't think she is really a size 2. I think she would have been fine with her remarks if she had not mentioned any size at all. I'm glad she's happy with herself.

I don't think she was trying to say she IS a size to, just pointing out that a size 2 in general is not fat. She probably worded it wrong. Either way, I'm glad she's speaking out about it. Tyra Banks had that unflattering pic of her in a bathing suit a while ago and really brought women's body images to the forefront. It's kind of sad that it takes a bad picture of themselves to get them talking about it though. Everyone should embrace the curves they have (as long as they are healthy curves) and learn to love their bodies.

I am guessing nobody saw the Victoria's Secret show the other night? I spotted cellulite on a few of them. Doesn't anybody remember Karoline whatsherface when they posted pics of her with cellulite in a photoshoot for VS?
Even with her great body, you can see that she has cellulite on her legs, like most women do!

EVERY woman over the age of 14 has some form of lumps and bumps. If not, its a tranny! :okay:

JLH has nothing to be ashamed of. She has a REAL womanly body with curves. Why the hate? Because she isn't on a magazine airbrushed like most of Hollywood like you to believe. Better than some anorexic ones out there. Remember Nicole Richie in that yellow bikini at the height of her "weightloss"? In Hollywood, you are damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I think everyone is just commenting on it...though some comments may be a little harsher than others, I don't think anyone means to be rude.

We tend to forget about body type and age, as some have mentioned. I'm 5'9,and weighed 120 in my 20's and early 30's. I was a size 10-12, because of my hips!! I was skinny, but my hipbones are wide...so even if I'd weighed 100, I'd still have 39 in. hips, just because of the bone...and 120 for someone my height was UNDERweight! Having children and getting older makes weight more dicey.

As long as we're healthy and happy...that's the most important thing!!

Good for her!

It doesn't matter what size she is. Her point was that people shouldn't be considered 'fat' if they're not a size 0.

Umm . . . . I think she looks great in her bikini, but her top looks a tad too small.

I wouldn't mind having that cellulite if I could have the rest of her body too:tup: I've seen un-retouched Jessica Alba pics at the beach...she's PERFECT ( http://thesuperficial.com/image.php?path=/2007/05/jessica-alba-beach-shoot-butt-03.jpg )and no cellulite:crybaby:Some women are just...lucky.

*sigh*

I saw this blog post. I do think she is cute and I like her show, but I think her message would have been a little more accurate/stirred up less controversy if she left out the size two bit. She doesn't say she is a size two, but implies it. I think that kind of takes away from her overall message and brings more focus to the size issue. However, I think she looks just fine.

ITA.

Maybe someone has already posted this, but I thought she meant that just because a person isn't a size 0, and isn't skinny and whatnot,
that being a size 2 in comparison doesn't mean that you're fat
I don't know anything, or would know anything about her to know what size she really is, but I didn't really think that she meant she was a size 2
