Of course she looks decent compare to the average amercian.

Also in this forum, we only see most post nice and unflattering pictures of celebs. This is also creating a wrong image.

I don't know how you all think you can tell what size she is!! I'm a size 2 and very small framed, but I have had 3 kids, so I'd look like that too probably! Size 2 is a big gain considering I was a small 0 before I had kids.

Congrats to her engagement! As for the famous bikini shot, I think it's mean but she's a celeb. People used to see JLH with a fit & toned body. I was surprised as well to see her bottom half not like it used to ---esp.with her young age. Sort of like Britney--from hot to not so hot anymore. I guess in Hollywood, people expect JLH to look like same as when she was a "Party of Five" star. Her face to waistline is still good looking. Now that she's pissed off---she's probably crash dieting, working out like crazy,or she's wealthy enough to get some work done.

WAY TO GO JLH!!! I think she sends a positive message to girls out there who are sad about their bodies. JLH used to have rock-hard abs and a tiny figure but now she has normal curves and is happy with it! And I agree with the other posters, she is small, 5'2" at most, so she prolly is a size 2 waist. Size is so irrelevant, same is numbers on the scale. I am the same height as JLH, weigh 110-112 and wear a size 2-4. However, I have no hips, butt or defined waist, very boyish figure. But I am athletic and healthy, which is all that matters.
I think JLH looks great and as long as she's happy, thats the key!

JLH is on a short side (5'2" I believe) and very well may be a size two. At her height, an extra pound or two will always appear to be more noticeable than it would on someone who is taller. Personally, I don't see what the big deal is - the girl's got cellulite! So what? Don't we all?

Agree! She's a 28 (I think?) year old woman with cellulite. She's not fat in the pictures. She's wearing a swimsuit that's not well fitted and if she's very short / small-boned, might very well be a size 2, especially in the vanity sizing that a lot of designers use.

Never been a fan of her career, really, but kudos to a pretty, positive girl for having fun, finding a man she wants to spend her life with, and enjoying a day at the beach. :okay: I hope her life continues to be happy and filled with love.

Cellulite's not hot, but it's common. Most girls her age fight it and most guys have dated/slept with women who have it, no big deal. I can't believe the criticism she's getting from people who haven't got a lot to brag about themselves, appearance-wise. How arrogant and rude. :tdown:

These threads crack me up......posters slamming celebs EVEN when they look great! It's SO funny to me.....I think of how insecure some women/people are.........and wonder what comments would be posted if we could critique them. Would you just shrug it off or would it hurt?

People can say all they want, "oh gawd, they're just celebs, big deal"......but my goodness, JLH is a human being just like the rest of us... with feelings and it can't feel good to hear and see the media talking about her body negatively. She's not fat, nowhere near it.......AND tone all you want, I've seen plenty of super skinny women and toned women with celulite on the back of their legs. SO WHAT!

I don't care what size she is - she's stunning! 2, 8 or 10. Whatever. She's smart, beautiful and happy with her body (and evidently, so is her fiance - LOL!) so who cares what people have to say?

I'd much rather look like her than Kelly Ripa who seems to get soooo much unwarranted attention (IMO) when it comes to her size and figure. She looks like an adolescent boy. People are being brainwashed when it comes to size and looks. It's all BS. Be healthy and happy with whatever size you are.

I think she looks great.

I'm a size 2 and you are not going to see me frolicking out there in a bikini because someone would invariably say something snarky (and I have cellulite, too). I have friends that are size 8s and look great in a bikini. I think hip-hugging bikini bottoms look bad on everyone.

And who are all these magazine writers that get to go around calling everyone too fat and then turn around and call the next actress too skinny? So is anyone normal?

i think she should have ignored the whole incident, much less focus would have been made. by fighting back, it just continues the debate..and encourages the paparazzi even more.

if she loves her body, who cares if she is a size 2 or 12? she should never have made the reference to a size.
