speaking of LI, didn't she have a rep for treating people who worked for her (contractors, etc) poorly? by contrast, susan lucci was known to be very nice to everyone. I believe I heard that from someone who had personal knowledge of her.

Yes. I had my very own story (from a friend with a charter company) who told me about her. I re-told it here years ago. Anthony was the complete opposite - a gentleman.

How much does it take to treat people decently? Esp when you promote yourself as having come from a modest background. Jenny from the block is apparently not a nice person

Susan is lovely and is a huge benefactor to our Alma mater.
As far as Jlo, she shopped here without issues. Most people who shop in those stores are PIA anyways. So she was just your variety shopper.

ITA. I remember in my teens, not having come from means, I dreamt big and wanted the big house, filled with lots of stuff, etc.
I remember reading somewhere that you usually spend your 20s dreaming of stuff, your 30s acquiring stuff, and your 40s getting rid of stuff.
The thought of a giant house and too much stuff terrifies me now. JLo literally has tons of baggage with STUFF and just emotional baggage as well.

The left at the alter part- I even felt that! I didn’t know he cheated on JLo tho - just classic case of cold feet is what I thought happened.

I rekindled a college romance (not a bad breakup just young and in college) after my divorce. I can say, in some instances 2nd chances are worth it.

How often has she gone on tour? I think I remember her touring with Marc Anthony when they were together, but has she ever done much solo touring? Is it possible that she's never been a big draw for audiences -- she just had great PR that convinced people she would have a great following if only she wasn't so busy making movies, judging reality shows, and doing other things that kept her from selling out arenas?

I think she has tried to tour in the past and tickets have never really been in demand.

So many yes people around her. Those Italy performances at restaurants are painful.
