Got an Artois MM in Blue Ciel from the Shinjuku branch last June as one of my birthday presents. Was looking forward to scoring a navy artois pm from the Shinjuku branch (no stocks of the pm and minis), but idk, I find the PM's strap length to be weirdly short. Don't like how it hangs on my shoulders. Plus size is not that ideal for work and travel, which is what I intend the bag for.

I was surprised to see a lot of colors for the artois mm when I visited the Shinjuku branch. There were Blue Ciel, yellow, orange, and red. I was hoping for navy or green though!
Someone bought a green Artois mm in straight cash while I was waiting in line a few weeks ago.
Does anyone know what the limit rule is in Japan? When I was there in May, I bought a card holder in Shinjuku the few days later I went to Tokyo takashimaya and was checking out two items. The SA then came back to tell me maybe the other one put it under my mum’s name cos two limit per person.
The Kyoto store had a mini Anjou in blue that came in the day before. It was the only one and my best friend grabbed it for me.
The Osaka store didn’t have any Anjou mini at all as of Aug 27.
Japan had 0 stock of Cap verts at any store

Something I realized about the shops in Japan is that none are independent shops like they are in say France or Monaco and that’s why the tax refund isn’t the full 10%. It works itself out to like 7-8% after they take the fee to either convert it to yen in cash or to put it back on the credit card. We weren’t sure which was the better value so we took the cash. Anyone have a better experience with getting it refunded right back to the credit card?
Went to the Shinjuku store a few days ago and was told Artois and Anjou Mini were all sold out, was pretty bummed. Today I went to the Nihonbashi store expecting the same and they had Artois (PM, MM), St Louis (MM) and Anjou Mini, all in black! Also saw in a few other colours as well. Happy to say I picked up what I was looking for ◡̈.
I did credit card, haven’t gotten it yet though (said it can take up to a week). But I always picked the credit card option in Europe so just did the same.
Let me know what your refund % ends up being. Will be upset if it’s better than the cash refund
My best friend got the Anjou mini for me. Her tax refund is already crediting a couple days later
