This was all very informative! It's crazy how after two generations, the really dark skin can almost just go away. I find genetics really interesting, quite a fun, unique detail of the human race.

I feel the same way. I always say 'genetics is a helluva drug'.

In my family I have a set of 5 cousins that have the same parents (both African American), 2 have kinky tight curls with light brown eyes, the other siblings have almost silky straight hair like our grandmother and then sibling one has blue eyes with blondish hair. It's the most amazingly thing beautiful. People see them together, but don't think they are sibling.
