Ivory/WinterWhite bags for Fall/Winter?

I wouldn't wear a white bag in the dead of winter. When you're trudging along through slush, it never seems like a good idea.

So, just having purchased a bright (milk) white woven leather bag with no hardware, I want to carry it when it arrives next week. So, what is the consensus? The bag is the color of fresh snow, which means I will match the landscape for quite a while (when we finally get snow)... I was thinking of tying a red ribbon on the strap for Christmas/Winter Solstice...

Adding the red ribbon sounds cute I sometimes hang a baby blue & silver or white & silver colored snowflake from my white purse in the winter time
(they were keychains that I turned into purse charms) .

I don't get slush on my darker bags, so doubt I'd get slush on any other color... Brrr, now I'm cold, just thinking about slush.
