The Gucci is classic, I would also say to take a look again at some of the Tags which I think is a better quality watch then the Gucci. The Tank is a true classic watch, you can't go wrong there!

if you are considering a cartier, then i'd say go for it. i personally prefer buying watches from a known watch maker. not that the dior and gucci watches aren't gorgeous. they are. but i think the cartier tank is more timeless and elegant. good luck and please post pics, ok?

Wow! I can't believe this thread has been revived :D I appreciate all the feedback, even the recent ones. I did end up purchasing a watch between the two... the Gucci with diamonds! I actually got it with the diamond markers and the diamond half-bezel. I loved it for the months that I wore it and still do really enjoy it.. but am planning on my next purchase already, which will definitely be a Chanel J12 or a Cartier two-tone Tank. I'm eventually going to get both, just can't decide which to get first. :D
