i like the first one....it may not be as classy and timeless as the Gucci option (which is what you're looking for actually....haha)

we're about the same age and to me, I'd rather wear Dior since it's more sophisticated and modern looking....Gucci's just a bit on the boring side IMO

i'm pretty sure you will be able to find and afford something classic in time to come :) if I were you, I'd go for something I feel great wearing NOW rather than getting something just because it will hold up in time cuz then I probably won't get to wear it a lot -_-"

Such a coincidence! I am looking at getting a new watch myself. I have decided on the Tag Heuer Aquaracer.
Of your three choices.. I really like #2.. the Gucci with diamond markers. It mosts resembles the Tag I am getting!

e_pinpin: i know EXACTLY what you mean about "now" as opposed to longevity.. I'm surprised that I have such a specific price point since I have no issues with dropping 2k on a purse! I don't know what's more important - LOVING it vs. TIMELESS.. The Gucci strikes me as being timeless and classic and maybe just a tad bit generic/boring. The Dior is fun and beautiful and I love it but I don't see it being classic. And I hate the j12 comparisons.


Ladies. I didn't want to admit it but I may just cave and buy..........

A Cartier Tank. (since my price limit is just something that I am keeping in mind and.. honestly, there really isn't a limit.)

Wow I have made no progress at all. ROFL.


What do you guys think about the new option? Tank? Beautiful... but does it look too mature? My bestie's mom wears one.. LOL.

IMO the Tank is the best option, it's more timeless. The watches from fashion houses like chanel, dior and gucci are more trendy which is not what you're actually looking for, isn't it? I like the Dior but it's trendy and indeed you can compare it to the J12. The Gucci are boring for me, like more classic but not timeless.

i think u might have found yourself a winner!!!

Tank's a great option!!! i love the design and i consider it to be one of the classics (as opposed to Dior as a watch brand) also u don't have to worry about any comparisons since Tank's so unique!!

I don't think u have to worry about the Tank being too mature...to me, it's younger looking than Gucci choice #2 and 3 anyway ^^

so I say TANK all the way...it's so NOW and FOREVER :)
