Sorry, you've lost me. The seller wouldn't have to be an LV employee to have a "real" purchase and use the receipt to sell a counterfeit; anyone could do it. I read your original post as asking if LV employees could batch print receipts from any customer profile in order to sell fakes online. So I presumed you thought the seller was an LV employee.Because there is record of a purchase for a python bag under her account. So I figured she could have kept the original and sold a fake online all the while showing proof it is "real". It is so hard to explain I guess, but it doesn't feel like the python in the LV store. The scales on theirs were more dry and flaky. This one feels softer. The Interior leather on this one literally comes out when I pull on it. The one in the store is secured in place and their leather feels thicker. The strap on the one in the store has no seams, but this one does. This purse also leans to one side. I honestly think this is a fake.
You've already stated that there is a 2 year age gap between your purchase and the store purchase. I don't have this piece so can't comment specifically but products do change. Faults are discovered and remedied. I am no expert on exotic leathers but would all python skin feel the same? I have no idea.
You have a choice to make: ask the seller to return because you believe it to be counterfeit or wait out on the authentications. You have plenty of time to make your decision but if it's causing you stress and sleepless nights then you have to ask .... it's a bag. Is it worth it? I'll check again - which authentication service did you use (one of them is better contacted via FB and not their website as I understand)?
