Is there anyone who DOESN’T like the Pochette Metis?

I must admit it’s one LV bag that I really have no interest in whatsoever. I like smaller bags but the style is just not appealing to me. I don’t like flap style bags as I find them awkward to use and the fastening looks way too fiddly. I don’t like crossbody at all. Looks nice in empreinte but not something I’d ever want myself.

Your comment is actually funny. Yeah, on me, it looks ridiculous too. Rather than stylish I end up looking a bit funny. Don't know why.

Well...I got it in the spring, it was made in Italy, it was beautiful but I wasn't sure. I kept looking at it and thought maybe I purchased too hastily, so I returned it. The SA couldn't believe it and kept asking if I was sure. Over the summer I kept looking at it and questioning myself. Then the big "PM is getting discontinued" saga started and I thought, okay I may have made a mistake. I was able to get one online, it was made in the USA this time but I was probably lucky to get one at all. Was it FOMO? I have no idea.

The obsession around it has made me hate it and I pray the rumors of it being discontinued are true.

I love my Pochette Métis, but cannot stand the Soeedy or Neverfull lol. I don’t think either of those look good on me, the Speedy doesn’t suit me crossbody and I don’t like handheld bags. It’s just a matter of taste I guess...I don’t go by trends or hype or popularity, I only buy what I feel looks good on me and will be functional for my needs.

Tried it didn't like it so I sold it. I couldn't find use for it and it's not the kind of bag I would wear everyday or out shopping. I use more of large bags and small for occasions. I did not feel the PM in monogram was suitable for very formal occasions.

I saw this at the boutique. It isn’t for me, but I was amazed how well made and “weighty” it was. It might hold a small sandwich and napkin. [emoji23]I guess there’s someone for everything!
