Is there anyone who DOESN’T like the Pochette Metis?

I was never drawn to it and don’t understand the hype. It’s shape reminds me of old school flap bag and I’m not a crossbody bag person. However, I have the Twinset/Twice for traveling and love how it hangs, flatter against the body.

Could it loved by many because of the price, especially the Monogram?

I bought it because I have young kids and wanted a crossbody bag that I don’t have to worry about. It fits the bill perfectly! And I actually love that it looks like a school bag:-)

I am a bit torn regarding the PM. I think it´s a nice practical bag and it looks good on me, but because of all the horror stories here on tpf I hardly ever use the bag, because I am so scared of getting one of the many known issues. So it just rests in its dust bag on my shelf. Very sad. I am not ready to let it go either, but I am regretting getting it in the first place because I don´t want to worry about any of my bags.
I've done the exact same. Used the bag rarely and still had cracked canvas. It's currently in for 'repair'. I'm nervous, I hope they're able to replace the whole flap.

I like the look of it but for some reason it’s just not for me. I have no reason other than it’s not filling a void in my collection. I also don’t love smaller bags that has compartments.

Haven't had it for long but the only thing that annoys me about it so far is the clasp. It's not super easy to use to be honest. Closing it a pain and requires a little too much precision work. Other than that I like the bag. It fits my typical crossbody/casual style.

Own it and love it on other people, but it just doesn't seem to "work" for me the same way. Maybe it's how I style my outfits with the bag or something but it just looks a lot more awkward on me than I thought ti would. It's nice as a going-out-and-running-errands type of bag, though!

I had the first version, then a later one. Sold both. I loved how it looked on me and the style right from the beginning. Both of mine were defective though so I refuse to buy another. It was also a little heavy and I've come to enjoy lighter bags, so that's another reason I won't repurchase.

Last three times I saw an Emp in the boutique, they were all heavily flawed. One, the SA saw grabbed the bag away and threw it in a drawer and was really embarrassed. Another time the SA was a brand new hire (he shared that with me during our transaction) and he ignored the flaw when I pointed it out. That might have been a return b/c the leather had big white marks on it (was the marine rouge) and I could tell he didn't know how to handle it. And the last one, I didn't point it out and just handed the bag back.

Ahh I feel more at ease and thought I was crazy for not loving it and wanting to sell lol.. I’ve been trying to fall in love with it but I just can’t!

Everyone be honest.. am I crazy for wanting to sell it to get a Mono Favorite MM to replace?? I’ve played around with a Favorite MM in store and loved it on me crossbody, shoulder and loved that it fit all my essentials..... Is that nuts?? :confused1: When I told the SA I wanted to sell my PM she said I was downgrading by getting a Favorite. Umm??
I tried the pm crossbody n i did not like it at all on me....the favourite however is nicer wearing crossbody, tts only my opinion..I ended up getting 2 favs. Yr SA should not hv made that comment cos everyone is different. Go with what u like not the hype.

I really like the design of it because it reminds me of old school satchels.... but that's also what draws me away from it because I already HAVE perfectly well-made beautiful satchels like that, for a fraction of the cost. Also the size is a bit awkward for me because it's not big enough to be a work bag (which is what I use satchels for), and not small enough to be a casual bag (I'm quite petite). Not to mention that so far only the freesia empreinte has made my heart move. It's just a lot of not-quite-rights for me lol.

It isn’t that I don’t “like” it, I just don’t need/want it. Too small for my everyday/work and too big for my evening, event, or weekend running around bag. And I’m not a big fan of flaps in general, especially flaps with finicky closures.
