Is there anyone who DOESN’T like the Pochette Metis?

PM for me is a weekend "go for a walk" or "yay, let's go for a dinner" bag which carries absolute minimum of stuff comparing with my Lumineuse or Metis hobo (CCs, IDs, lipstick and sunglases...) I agree with the other statements regarding weight, boxy feeling (sometimes it is not enough feminine for me - so I use bandeaux-s to make them more girly) and quality issues...I got 4 (Mono, Reverse, Epi and Empreinte). I have to admit I still like them. But I honestly think this bag is by 95% of the owners overweighted and that is why they look so boxy and awful on the body frame...And I do not complain about the high demand - that is great - I can sell them anytime...

i bought the infra rouge pochette metis and it was simply too small for me to use as an everyday bag. that and i am plus size, so it did not look flattering on me at all! so i ended up returning it...

That is quite funny because I am looking for as you say a "go for a walk" or "yay, let's go dinner bag" to carry my essentials. Not sure if it will be the Pochette Metis yet though.

I’ve been back and forth with this bag for the past couple of years. I like the way it looks, but what kept me from purchasing it was vachetta (really not a fan, even with this minimum amount) and the way it looked on the side (a lot going on with the pouches). I was a bit on the fence, because I’ve thought it didn’t look very casual, but then not very dressy either and I had a hard time picturing a good outfit and a good occasion where I would carry it. I totally get why some people might not like it.

I do like the mono reverse though, because somehow, it looks far more ‘special’ to me. Somehow, whatever bothered me with the classic one, does not bother me as much with this style (+ no vachetta!). I’ve ordered the mono reverse one last month, so I might be able to say more about it when (if!) it arrives sometime next year...

I am a bit torn regarding the PM. I think it´s a nice practical bag and it looks good on me, but because of all the horror stories here on tpf I hardly ever use the bag, because I am so scared of getting one of the many known issues. So it just rests in its dust bag on my shelf. Very sad. I am not ready to let it go either, but I am regretting getting it in the first place because I don´t want to worry about any of my bags.

I have sold my Metis Empreinte after 3 months!

- I realized that it‘s too popular, to see everywhere
- The clasp is not practical and too showy
- Quality issues!!

I regretted buying it!

I've never really been a fan of it at all. During the hype, I tried it on and didn't like the boxy way it stood out on my huge hips. It's a flap bag, so that means every time I need something, flap up, dig in, flap down and search for the fastener. Oh the anxiety while standing in a grocery line!

There is no room.

Speedy 25 or Speedy 30 is a great alternative.

I've never been a fan of it, and this entire post pretty much sums it up for me. Way too small and difficult to get in & out of.

Nope I never liked it! I find it’s too boxy and doesn’t sit nicely on me. Always seems to stick out, and I don’t like the 2 compartments, coz I find it’s a waste of space. The clasp I dislike as well, and it’s awkward to open and close and reminds me of a doctors bag. I’m glad I’m not the only one that doesn’t like the style.

I've bought and sold this bag 3 times now! I find the lock annoying to have to line up and always worried about scratching, the glazing I kept checking and on one the glazing had glue pushing out from underneath (in the spot the clasp from the strap rubs on) then the glazing wasn't quite stuck there.. each time I sold to fund something else but missed it and bought again.. this time it's gone for good since I bought a Mylockme BB In the end I only used my last PM once and it just sat there and I wore everything else I have

I like them but not a fan of them. For me, it didn't even fit what I really needed to put in a handbag? I am Short & Long sighted so I have to carry around 2 eyeglass cases & sadly the cases didn't fit in the PM. The flap was a real PITA for me as well? And No? I am never wearing those bi-focal glasses ever again!!! (had them for only 2 days! Back they went!) I will just stick with 2 pairs & 2 spare ones.
