Is there anyone who DOESN’T like the Pochette Metis?

Fell in love with the Pochette Metis in photos and on others but I do NOT love it on me. Like @PinkInTheBlue said, it is also too boxy and awkward on me. Anytime I’ve worn this bag crossbody, it always sits behind me on my back because it looks awkward on me on the side of my hips or when worn crossbody towards the front. It’s such a beautiful bag but unfortunately it didn’t work out for me either. It’s been sitting in its dust bag / box for some time and I also plan on selling it. The clasp was also quite a pain for me as I felt like I was putting so much work to just open and close my bag lol

Ahh I feel more at ease and thought I was crazy for not loving it and wanting to sell lol.. I’ve been trying to fall in love with it but I just can’t!

Everyone be honest.. am I crazy for wanting to sell it to get a Mono Favorite MM to replace?? I’ve played around with a Favorite MM in store and loved it on me crossbody, shoulder and loved that it fit all my essentials..... Is that nuts?? :confused1: When I told the SA I wanted to sell my PM she said I was downgrading by getting a Favorite. Umm??

I'm not sure why you should keep it if it doesn't work for you or if you don't like it. It seems a bit ridiculous to keep a bag that you don't like just because others like it so much. I mean, why do you have the bag in the first place? Is it for you or is it for others?

You're only downgrading if you go to a bag that you like even less or that is less functional for you. Whether or not other people like a bag should not really be part of the equation.

Agree with above reasons! I had mine for only a month and sold it soon afterwards without any problem as it was like new. Too boxy, hated the clasp, not big enough for me for a day bag and too big for a quick outing where I just wanted a pouch for wallet and keys.

The Favorite MM is adorable and if it works for your lifestyle, then buy it. There is no downgrading IMHO. If a bag sings to you, then buy it. It doesn't matter if it's a Target special or a Hermes.

Me :-(

I purchased it a few years ago, the canvas was very thick and super stiff. It was also heavy and just felt like a brick. The shoulder strap was also stiff and painful to wear. I liked the look but not how it was in person. It went back and I never re purchased it although I hear the canvas is softer and it’s been revised in a few ways.

is there anyone who passed on the Pochette Metis and why? It seems to be one of LV’s most popular bags that I own and I regret purchasing  sad to say all the hype of this bag is what drew me to it but something about it just doesn’t look right on me when worn especially crossbody.....

Has anyone sold theirs or what’s your reason you don’t like it? Did you opt for a different bag?
I sold mine after only five months. I didn’t like the silhouette on me. It looked/ felt too large and clunky. I much prefer the Alma BB on me and find the bags hold about the same amount. I love the PM on others, and the look of the bag in general, but it didn’t flatter me. I sold it for exactly what I paid for it, so I was happy about that.

I have the first edition Metis. SInce I had it for a long time, I am not crazy about it as before, however it's a nice and practical bag. LV refurbished the glazing, put a new handle and gave me a new strap, so I feel it has lots of life left
