Is the pochette Métis a great bag for travelling and holidays?

It’s a great bag for travelling…I love mine. Perfect day to night bag esp with the top handle too, which is very elegant. But even otherwise the canvas works with all the outfits and carries just the perfect amount. Love it.

Depending on my destination, I pack either the Métis or the Bumbag in my carry on tote, and I use it once I get there. The Métis holds everything you wanted it to hold in your post, even a small water bottle. I just came back from Paris and used the metis every day there except for one day. It carried my wallet, passport, small change purse for euros, small water bottle, toiletry 15 and phone. The only day I did not carry the Métis was the day I went shopping for souvenirs with my Daughter because I knew I’d have to carry a lot of the bulky stuff she bought, so I brought my Goyard tote that day.

side note about the bumbag- I think it’s also fantastic and I stopped caring about the vachette. I wore it to Disneyland and universal last summer. It got wet and I didn’t care. At 40, I’m too old to care now! I want to enjoy my stuff!!

How does the crack look like?
I’m thinking of using it as a every day bag. Wonder if a 350ml water bottle, mini umbrella from cath kidston and glasses case fit well? Anyone has a photo of these in your PM? Thank you lovelies

Would it be pushing it too much to stuff a water bottle, umbrella and glasses case into a PM? It’s quite a “flat” style bag, unless these items are all rather flat, it might distort the PM quite a bit. I don’t own a PM but I can’t picture all 3 fitting in together.

Speedy 25 would not be a problem fitting all three items but it’s bulky when view from the side.

I have the Métis in both monogram and reverse and I don’t use it traveling. I think it’s great as an everyday bag but it wouldn’t fit an umbrella and water bottle. Your bag would bulge.
Have you thought about the bumbag in empriente? I used my empriente bumbag when I went to Disney Workd lately and it was great. It doesn’t fit a water bottle but it’s great to be hands free when traveling and to keep all the important items close to you. I forgot I was wearing it half the time! I also carry a tote when traveling (like on airplane) to hold other necessities like water bottle, iPad, sweater, etc.
