I dont consider Lv flashy at all . exspecially not the Damier. Although Damier is getting to be more and more recognized. It's just that everyone knows what Lv is and that it is a high end brand. So I think its more that people get kind of excited when they see it. It's kind of like when I saw someone carrying a real Hermez bag when I was in California. I gasped... because I had only ever seen it on tv or in the store. It was the first time I saw a non famous person with one. So yeah to end the babbeling I think its just more of a excitement reaction.

You don't have a "Maybe" in your choice, so I voted yes. Certin lines of LV are flashy, you paid to be noticed. The Monogram and Vernis lines are definitely flashy because of the logos. I don't think the Epi or Damier lines are flashy.

In my town, no one really gives a hoot about what people are wearing/carrying.
Maybe the younger kids do (I'm 40), not sure. I live in a land of designer = Guess. And I suppose Coach is considered high end here. So carrying any of the non-blingy canvas bags certainly do not attract attention and people have no clue you are carrying a bag worth almost a month's rental somewhere. Now if I carried the Courtney to Costco, that'll give me some looks

I think some LVs can be quite attention calling, but I think they are supposed to. Others are more demure. It's up to the customer to decide what message they want to send.

I just think high-end brand screams "look at me".
I live in a middle-upper class area so you spot chanels guccis lv like on everyother girl! No joke!
But I go to school inland and the area isn't that.. Up there.
So what I see is coach every now and then.

I guess girls just hate what they can't have.. I'm guilty of this too! Hahah

I'm not sure. I personally don't think it is, but do worry that it seems flashy to others. I mean I absolutely love to see LV on other people in real life (I hardly ever do). But I worry sometimes that others will think I'm trying to show off or something by having it. At least I used to think that, but now I realise that I shouldn't be letting other people's perceptions dictate my wardrobe! Who are other people to tell you what you can and cannot wear. So if you love it, rock it!

it's not discreet. I think it's easy to say how much one has spend on their bag with LV (esp mono), and even though there are pricier bags out there, this brand is seen by many as the ultimate luxury probably because it's very well known by most. I would say it is flashy. I like it anyway. I smile on wearers of LV, H or Target bags. They are just bags after all, and if people want to spend more or less on them makes no difference to me whether I like them as people or not. But if you're wearing something I like, you'll have to pardon my drool!

I can't have a lot of things...but I still like them. I can't think of any item I hate.
