I bought a pale gray Rebecca Minkoff Matinee in Nubuck that would go all year long. The only problem I have is here the the East Coast Spring and summer are a less "dangerous" time. Too much snow, dirt and salt collect on the cars and one splash or rub could ruin it.

I think light colors would work just have to be very careful. Spring/summer is associated with pop-up thunderstorms that could ruin a suede bag. Last night I saw a lady carrying a black suede bag w/ tassels and to be honest it did not look good with her spring clothes.

Agreed! Don't forget to spray it with a non silicone based protectant. Silicone will change the color!

don't think that there are any rules.. you, the wearer make the rules for yourself..

I am not sure that I would wear a dark color suede bag in the dead heat of the

summer, but if it is a bright color why not??/

I suppose it depends on the weight of the leather and the color. Suede can be very light and soft, such at that use for clothing.

I would say a light summer color and weight would be fine in the warmer weather.:smile1:
