No, they are not worth the money!!! And I love Goyard. I have two - white and black and tan pm- and I have been carrying my white one for two weeks now. I was just in the grocery store staring at it in my cart and thought - "this looks like one of those free totes they give you when you buy a certain dollar amount of cosmetics". I will definitely not be buyinig another unless they drop the price - say by $1200.00 lol

I have a Neverfull and was thinking about purchasing a St. Louis.. Sounds like I should stick to another Neverfull?

I like to give the benefit of the doubt but being that the St. Louis is so similar to the Neverfull, it keeps me torn. The one thing I've noticed is the handles in the Neverfull is pretty durable and holds a substantial amount of weight. Is this not the case for the St. Louis?

I own a DE Neverfull which I love❤️ I also own 2 Saint louis bags which I also love!
My goyard bags are not as well known as LV but for me both brands have held up well
My goyard bags feel a bit more special when I carry them as I don't see many out and about!!

I truly think it depends on who you ask. I personally love my goyard. I purchased it last year and have had no problems whatsoever. I returned the neverfull because I felt the straps were uncomfortable once any sort of weight was added (which made me so sad because it was a handbag that I was really looking forward to having!).
My Goyard has held up great and I plan to purchase another this year with monograming. I think it's a great everyday tote that is totally under the radar.

I have never had an issue with any of my St. Louis totes, and I am not as careful as I should be. I do think they are a bit overpriced for being so simplistic. However, you don't see Goyard nearly as often as LV, and I love how under the radar they are. My only regret is not falling in love sooner. I still enjoy LV from time to time, but it's such an overkill. If you're on the fence as far as price, try the Grenadine. It has more structure (not much) and has the zipper for safer security. What ever you decide, you won't be disappointed.

Do not waste your money.

I lovingly used my St. Louis PM for SIX MONTHS and it was starting to fall apart. The handles were cracking and splitting, but I thought I could get the handles repaired. I put it in my closet.

I took it out this month (my bag is maybe nine months old... so well under a year!) and I noticed that my corners were seconds away from developing holes and that the canvas coating was chipping/flaking off.

Under no circumstances would I recommend a Goyard to anyone, ever.

I just bought a monagrammed Goyard and plan on wearing for summer travel. I think they are a good low maintenance bag to carry around. Plus they are super lightweight! All designer bags are overpriced anyway!

In my opinion, LV is better quality for the price. If it's non-flashiness appeals to you, maybe you could look into LV damier or epi?
The Neverfull is also available in Epi leather. It's delicious.

I also suggest Faure le Page, which is even more exclusive. They have one shop in Paris on Rue Cambon (next door to the Chanel there) and are not available online. You can call and order a bag that way.

+1

My gently used wallet is only 5 months and the paint is chipping. The SM told me this is completely normal and will happen to all of their products. I'm very disappointed with the quality and CS.

I recommend the Goyard with all my heart. There have been so many open top totes that I have tried, from the Neverfull to Chanel-even McQ and a brief foray into Henri Bendels just to find that bag that does it. Has a reasonably existant bottom, light enough to not make me feel like the lady with the house on her back from Labyrinth (dating myself :), shoulder straps not uncomfy and just has that "thing" that makes me smile. I bought the Neverfull twice. Each time it just didn't rock my world, and I really thought I had gotten the best that was out there. I was a sad, sad hoarder until the ST Louis PM. Perfect size for those things you absolutely need, like a million little leather goods from Hermes in different colors, a sweater, a kindle, a water bottle and with space to spare. Light as a feather and squishy, but not too squishy. I work in a suburb of Chicago, and while I got the "looks" for the LV, this one brings no stares but I know how special it is. Also good for digging around while I am driving! Hope this helps!

I second this. I love Goyard and have never had any problems. I don't buy luxury items expecting that they will forever go without issue. I have a few LV pieces that remain in my bag collection; and probably won't be adding much more of LV. It's just not as exciting as it once was IMO. I adore how under the radar Goyard really is. You can't purchase online and they try to make it much more exclusive than other brands. I also have had so many compliments when I wear Goyard, as opposed to your over saturated Louis Vuitton products. That's just me though:smile1:

I've had my St. Louis for about four years. It's my summer bag and touch wood so far shows no signs of wear. Love that it get soft and squishy in the heat.

However I've never carried it in our Canadian winters and wonder if some of the problems people have reported might be due to the leather and plastic coating stiffing and cracking in the cold.
