elletee and LegacyGirl, your points make sense. I've never really thought that the cup size has to be proportional to the band size. I figured a cup is a cup because I never really had to pay attention to it before. But it makes sense. Now if this website that I clicked on only goes up to 28DDD/E, I am amazed that your mom (LegacyGirl) could find bras in her sizes. Like wow!

Its definitley possible i'm pretty small 5ft tall and im a 30 G UK size and my mum is 5 ft 2 and whilst shes larger then me she is like a hh / j cup,and we are both natual. She had big boobs when she was slimmer too and even when I've lost weight,my boos have stayed the same size.

Okay...I know this is sort of a strange request...but for everyone who wears a 30, whats your ribcage measurement? Just out of curiosity.

Also if any bra experts are in here...I still need help haha (I asked in a different topic a while ago)

My ribcage is 27.5". Around full bust/breasts I measure out to be like 35.5".

I was measured as 32D but didn't buy any bras...I'm wearing 34C right now but the band is loose.

I used an online bra calculator that says I should actually be a 32C. Which is the equivalent of a 34B...and I'm quite sure my breasts are bigger in volume than that. Since everyone I know who has been fitted as a 34B looks smaller then me cupwise...

Sooo confusing!!!

But yes...just curious as to how tiny ribcages are for size 30...

^^ i think 32D sounds right, but it wouldn't be odd if you were actually a 32C (it depends on how your breasts are shaped). you should probably get measured just in case. and so you know, every bra fits differently.

I measure 28 around my ribcage but a 32 band is big on me so I went down to a 30. They say your band should be your support and not your bra straps so you should have a good fit around your rib cage but that isn't uncomfortable or create bulges. I am a 30G. I was in a 32F but the bra kept riding up in the back throughout the day. It is amazing the different it makes when I went down a size. I am much "perkier" and it actually creates a slimmer line since you can see more how small my rib cage is since the boobs arent weighing down hiding that slim part.

Wow! I was expecting more responses like Demi, but you ladies really know your stuff! If anyone needs to get fitted check out My Intimacy's network, there should be someone in your area.

I went to Nordstrom and they only several bras in that size. I like 't-shirt bras' or bras that are lined/have light padding so they have a 'shape' when they're not being worn, but aren't stiff like the Le Mystere ones. Any recs?

girl i just got measured have you found any for on a budget babes cuz im in the same boat except i was wearing a 38c and when i was measured i wound up a 30 d its such a pain to find bras my size on a budget any tips chicky
