Love my Coach 1941, moving on to LV canvas for care free, Chloe, maybe a Balenciaga Bazar - but not really interested in Chanel or Hermes. MAYBE an Evelyne on day. Maybe. I'd love a Lady Dior because something about the girly style gets me - but where I live I'd NEVER use it and doubt I could tolerate the price for the limited use.

I think I'm ready to move to lesser known/non-premium designers who make quality, unique styles at a good price. Excited to branch out to my Massaccessi - even though I'm still in the throws of a custom order panic (fear of regret which I know is baseless, yet here we are... ).
The Lady Dior clutches are about the size and ahape of a Dinky (not quite as deep) and they are much less expensive than the regular Lady Dior. They have the same quilted lambkin as the bigger bags and gorgeous gold chain hardware. I bought a pale pink one this summer and loved it so much i went back for black. They are my dressy bags. They hold more than a Chanel WOC, Diorama WOC or Pochette Felicie. I consider them both timeless staples that I’ll have forever.

I am just not surprised when a company, especially one with shareholders, announces they are doing something completely different, or innovative, or going in a groundbreaking direction, etc and somewhere down the road, do a 180. It is not shocking to me, no matter what was said at any time by anyone high up in the org , that high end bags that weren't moving found their way into a sale bin. Better that than collect dust in a warehouse.
When one marketing strategy runs its course, time to move onto the next. Said by someone who has been around long enough to remember when gaggles of teenage girls paraded around EVERYWHERE with their jaquard logo hobos.
This. Bottom line is when you have shareholders it's all about the bottom line. If the shareholders aren't making money the top brass at the corporation go bye bye.
