Now that you mentioned it, I went back and looked at the picture of the other one and I see what you mean. The cream color trim doesn't exactly match. I like the bag you picked much better! Is it about the same size as Callie? Happy early birthday!

ETA: And, as long as I'm nitpicking, I don't care for the stitching on the bag you rejected. It is distracting.

Thanks WE . I love having tassels on bags . Even though this bag is not a classic style, I like the cute/feminine shape. It has minimal vachetta — I will probably use a scarf on the handle and the strap (not shown) is removable so it can be replaced if it becomes too grungy looking. It’s light pink inside just like the bag I posted yesterday—that’s a big selling point for me . I am not familiar with Callie — is it the Callie Foldover Clutch? If yes, mine is bigger. It is comparable in size to the one I posted yesterday (maybe a tad smaller than Cassie due to the shape of mine tapering in a little bit near the top). I really love the look of it. It comes in the brown print too which is more practical.

Thanks again to everyone who gave advice and opinion on the bag I posted yesterday. I got excited after all our discussions and texted my SA who said she had one in store today. I had to see it for myself to make a decision. It is pretty but not love for me . Hard to explain, maybe the lighting made the cream color trim near the bottom not as attractive as I thought it would be. Just something about it didn’t work for me. She also had the brown version today (my lucky day as these bags are hard to find these days). I love the brown version a lot! But chose something else instead as a super early BD bag. It‘s still a few months away but I didn’t want to risk any problem with my credit card online again if we have to order it in advance due to no inventory in store.

Thanks ML . I had researched this bag a long time ago and thought it was too small before. But now that I carry less and prefer smaller bags for short daily outings, the size is doable. I was actually planning to get the DE version last year but ended up with the Speedy20. I have to admit that I have some weird hang up about buying a bag with red lining for fear of color transfer. (The two DE bags I got earlier don’t have the red lining). The S20 has red lining but I haven’t used any light color SLGs in it yet. The store had a DE Alma BB, DA Croisette, and Reverse PM — all MIF — for me to try on. Lucky they were all in stock. I really liked the DE Alma too (looks so good IRL) and may have bought it if they didn’t have the Croisette. I also really like the Reverse PM too but a small part of me doesn’t want to add any more mono-type bag during this pandemic period (for a person who didn’t want any mono before, I now have more mono bags than other canvas print ).

Hey, what do you ladies think of opening a separate PM account using DH’s name to sell more than $600 of stuff? I know I can sell on a different platform but I don’t think I want to sell anywhere else (becauss I want to get paid by check).

I am not sure how each of the sites work in regard to the name on the account. Most of them probably just need to have a different email attached to it, but those that pay out might notice that the bank payout was the same. So if you are being paid with check it might be okay. I am just not sure if there is some sort of identifier that would show as similar for the two accounts.

I love the Croisette because it can be hand held so easily but the strap is useful. I’ve been carrying more crossbody bags (something I’ve never done before) so this is a cute bag with and without the strap. That appeals to my practical side.

I’m so glad you could try on a variety of bags. That makes such a difference. I really like both the DE and DA. Honestly, I’d be over the moon with either. I love all three canvases.

I haven’t used any light coloured SLGs in my Speedy DE but I have been reassured several times by our friends in the LV forum that they have had no problem with colour transfer. Of course, I’m so reluctant as I treasure my DA collection. I figure it presents another reason to buy a small DE SLG to use as a wallet! I already own the mini-pochette.

I have two questions for you.
1. Is the strap you received with your Croisette adjustable? I have an unusually long torso and would need to be able to adjust it. I guess my back up could be my speedy B DE strap.

edit: just reviewed the description. It’s non-adjustable.

2. Does a mini-pochette fit inside?

Thanks TO . I didn’t really think I would ever get a cream color crossbody but recently decided it’s ok to go with something less practical as long as I love it more.

I have never liked carrying crossbody bags either till the last couple of years (I sold off most of them years ago). I am looking forward to using it (trying not to worry about possible color transfer, I wear jeans but not dark ones or new ones .).

Yep, the strap is non-adjustable like you said. It hangs just a little lower than my Alma BB but it is fine for my height ( 5’ 3”). I have a generic adjustable strap (for the Speedy20) that I can use with it if I want.

I can fit a mini pochette in it. Along with a ZCP and 2 key pouches and still has some room left. Not sure if a sunglass case would fit on top since the shape is like a trapezoid (tapering in at the top). It’s a small bag but can hold most essentials.
