I like this embossed leather pattern and the color is so pretty . Like you, I don’t usually buy back bags I sold but I do get tempted sometimes I see it posted here (like WE’s all black Dakotah that I sold NWT ). Enjoy
Thanks! Yes, I rarely miss or need a bag again. To be honest I hadn't thought about this bag much until recently when I started seeing several of them for sale and it caught my eye again. Plus I loved having the pink strap when I owned it as I can use it with some of my Callie bags too. I wouldn't have re-purchased this bag if it cost more, but I had made an offer on an already very low price and the seller accepted, which was great :-) Then it came and was absolutely beautiful and perfect (kind of like getting my own back, lol!)

Maybe you ladies can help me decide on my (hopefully ) one real handbag this year. I have not preordered it yet (may be too late since it’s a new bag being released tomorrow) — I love the look of this one so much. It’s light pink inside . But it is a cream color bag so one accidental pen mark will ruin it . I would wear it year round (don’t care if others think it’s a summer bag ). I am considering the same bag in brown (no special braided handles though) which is more practical but more common. Or maybe another bag. I am having a hard time deciding not because I don’t like it but I feel pressured to choose the best/right bag since I hope to buy only one bag this year. Thanks.

Ooh, that braiding is special! I wouldn't get it if I was going to hand carry though. Here's a thought. A pen mark can ruin any color but I have a way to bleach out pen marks, which might leave a white mark, so works better on a light color.

I've bought a few bags over again and then sold them again, so I guess I was right the first time I sold them.

The braiding is special but I would have actually preferred it to be cream color only. What’s nice about this bag is that there’s no vachetta on it (like I have vachetta on my tote in the same print, I don’t like the natural aging of it even though I don’t use it much). Do you think the braiding makes it uncomfortable to carry by hand? I usually wear it crossbody or on the shoulder. I have 2 bags in this style/size but different material. Would you mind sharing your method of removing pen stains? I don’t know. I am scared to buy it due to my credit card problems that I mentioned earlier

I don't know if it would make it uncomfortable but I would be afraid that hand oils would discolor it quickly.

Stains can be bleached out of light colors with zit cream (benzoyl peroxide). It is bleach in cream form so it can be put precisely on a stain without touching any other part of the bag. It has to sit overnight, at least, at which point it dries on the bag so then has to be cleaned off. It might help to put in the sun. I've only tried it on leather not canvas so I don't know for sure how well it will work. My experience with coated canvas is that stains somehow migrate below the coating, making them nearly impossible to remove, but I didn't know my bleaching trick when I had coated canvas bags.

When I was at the LC outlet the other day, I stopped by Coach. This location had some Reserve items (not a lot though). The one that caught my eye was the red apple Pillow Tabby 26. Not sure if it was 50% off or not. So soft and squishy — would be so much fun to carry and play with. Oh, no denim butterfly charms there.

I vote for this one. It's special! If you can't get this one, then at least you have the brown one as an excellent 'consolation'. One thing to consider with the specially braided handles, is if that lovely detail will be hidden under twillies...

Thanks for the birthday wishes! :hugs:

Thanks for your reply Jen . I have mixed feelings about the handles because of the brown part (I like the pink part for sure ). I was thinking about covering them with twillies but I am concerned about the braiding snagging my twillies so I might have to get some inexpensive ones just for this bag. A part of me is worried that if I buy my one bag now, it will be a long 9 months till I can buy another bag again next year . Guess I need to think about it some more.

I actually prefer the aged look of the Vachetta as if not it looks plasticky to me haha

I know many people prefer the tanned aged look. I am definitely in the minority on this. I love the fresh new blonde/plastiky  look. Here’s my bag with the vachetta — this bag is only 4-5 years old, used sparingly. I am a bit disappointed that it aged so much when I barely used it. That’s why I am drawn to the new bag I posted.

Honestly if you are going to use twillies I don't see the point of getting a braided handle.

I don't mean this in a bad way to other LV bags, but this is the one that I really like. :-) The print and the braiding....
