I went back and searched this thread and it looks like House may have some bags with links. And I actually noticed and liked this bag below on FOS a couple of years ago — think this size would work for me now

And on the subject of venting about selling bags, it’s been a waste of time to send out offers to those who “like” my items or those who add one of my items to a “bundle” without any other item in the bundle. I feel a little relief that my closet is on vacation hold till Jan. I feel like I constantly have to check my email or PM while selling. Like when someone adds something of mine to a single item “item”, I don’t get an email on it. So the only way to find out is to go into PM to see my news.

This does look like a good size. I keep sending offers anyway. I like feeling like I'm doing something to generate sales, but it has been so slow.

I'll add my vent as a buyer - if someone makes you an offer respond to it don't ignore them. I made an offer on an item for 10% less than asking price, no response and it expired. I did the templated "is this item still available" and no response. Then I get a $5 off coupon for some of the seller's items and the seller's other items have been "promoted." So now I'm wondering if this was that smart pricing where it automatically drops the price or it the seller is ignoring me....so I made another offer 5% off and still no response. I would just pay asking price, but 1) ignoring me thinks the sale won't go so well and 2) it's a charm I already owned (for half this asking price) but for the life of me cannot find anywhere so paying over retail just hurts a bit. ok vent over.
Totally with you on that too! I hate when they don’t respond as you can’t really try for the same item elsewhere while you wait. I also don’t like when people just decline with no comment or counteroffer.
Hello our long lost dear ban island friend — you have definitely been missed by all of us. I am sorry to hear about your family’s medical issues — wishing you all well on that. Glad to hear you have been pretty good with your ban (can’t say the same for some of us like a certain member whose name starts with an I). Hope to see more of you here when you get a chance. I'm surprised you like it as this is quite a large bag. Maybe there were more sizes than I know of? It is a beauty from the 1941 line.
Inside of me there are two wolves…
One is trying to talk me into buying the Ergo 33 in natural from the Coach sale. It’s so pretty. So lightweight. Won’t make my shoulder hurt. Will make me feel like I’m in a ‘90s New York romcom but without the annoying love interest.
The other one is telling me not to be an idiot. I don’t use my elm Emery enough due to fear of colour transfer, why do I need another light-coloured bag? Also, given the amount of times I’ve broken my ban, maybe my shoulder does deserve to hurt.
Who’s going to win, guys? Who’s going to win?

I think it's funny that you consider elm to be a light color.
(I would consider it to be more in the medium/dark range. But then again, off white is my go to neutral.) The natural is so pretty! But if you're too afraid to use it, then it will just be a pretty bag to admire.

I saw this bag at the outlet earlier this year (one of the many times I broke my ban haha) in another colour and it’s truly very beautiful!
I love large bags so the size wasn’t an issue for me but the only thing that stopped be (because clearly, to me a ban means buying more than o usually do) was how stiff the leather was.
For a style like this one I would want it to drape a little over time, and maybe this leather would after use, I can’t speak to that.

Haha yeah, believe it or not it’s the lightest bag I own! My fear of damaging it is the only thing keeping me from buying it right now, praying that fear lives on
It sounds like I wouldn't like it either. I don't believe you should have wait for leather to soften up. It should already be that way when they make the bag.
Agreed, it should be relatively soft when new. This leather is perfect on a dinky but way too stiff for a duffle style bag.
