Sure, don’t blame you for sticking with the brand that works for you. I have never heard of S’well either till TPF (famous enabling site ). I got my first one at Costco (they no longer sell them) for < 1/2 retail.

yeah, my daughter has considered one but they are so pricey especially with two little ones who could grab and drop(toss) it, plus for work she worries it could go for a long walk lol. Contigo is decent, even my grandson has cups by them. Costco sells them at a great price!

I walked away from a gorgeous patent leather owl KS bag at TJMaxx that was only $70. I really hate whoever it was that thought this ban thread was a good idea. :crybaby:

I miss going to TJM and Marshalls (been like over 6 months). Not sure if they are open in my area but even if open, I think I am not comfortable doing in-person shopping for non-essentials (although purses are essential right?).

No dishwasher and can’t refrigerate, and heavy? Ugh. I use Tervis and actually like to see the liquid level so I prefer non opaque ones. I hear Yeti is good too, but I don’t own any. These are pretty, but don’t think they work for me. Thanks for the info though.
We love hydroflasks in our household. They keep water cold for a long time. We also have the wine cup versions and a coffee one. But we use the hydroflasks with the sports caps option they have, and keep them in the refrigerator, and then pull them out when we need them. When we get home we refill / or wash them as needed. They are worth the price and great bottles. My son uses one for his water bottle when he was going to school, and the kids that don't have hydroflask are always wanting them for keeping the water cold.

They work so well that when you first refill them and put them in the refrigerator you have to have the lid lightly screwed on so it can get some of the cold air from the refrigerator. Otherwise the bottle would keep it at the temperature it was filled at :-)

I can't think when I'll next feel comfortable to shop in person. I've been thinking about the fall and winter and wondering if I'll continue to wear my lounge clothes. I bought a few new sweaters that it makes me sad I might not wear. Since I haven't had the energy or drive to get dressed in real clothes most of the summer I don't know what makes me think I'll be any different when the weather gets cooler. I probably will only wear my coats a few times this year.

In my ongoing saga of not being able to get food I want - instacart has been out of parmesan cheese for a few months, except for the pre-grated kind. I bought a huge container of pre-grated, not realizing how big it would be, and have discovered that, while I don't really care for it as cheese, it makes a great substitute for spaghetti noodles! Another ingredient I haven't been able to find is Crisco sticks. I can get the tubs but the sticks are much more convenient. Today Amazon had a package of 6 packages (3 sticks each) for around $22 and I jumped on it. So now I'll have enough for the next few years.

I like this! I was tempted when I saw them on FOS but felt they were kind of expensive and I don't really need one. When we travel, DH puts each thing that might leak, like shampoo and shaving lotion, in a separate zip lock bag.
I agree, it was kind of expensive, especially after the CAN to US dollar conversion. I also like travelling with ziploc bags. They are so handy for everything. I hope to use mine poolside one day.
Very cute! BUT, Gateway drug! Gateway drug! :panic:
I hear you, LT. I have to put the kibosh on the tote.

It’s fun hearing about your KS tote adventures. Yours is so lovely.

I think it’s fine to wear the new sweaters that you already bought but I wouldn’t buy more if I were you since it is unlikely you will get a lot of use out of them this Fall. I have gone out here and there (occasional Target run with DH when we needed something that we couldn’t wait for them to be mailed, Costco twice, etc). But I just can’t go shopping for fun/leisure now — think it would stress me out too much

Sorry to hear you haven’t been getting your fresh Parmesan but glad you got a huge thing of Crisco sticks (had to look it up since not familiar with it). I think DH said we might continue with the grocery cube side pickup even when it is safe since it is a pretty convenient and efficient way of meal planning.

You need to get out if you can. I was never quarantined thanks to my job so I don’t know but everyone here is out and about now.

These are pretty :). Look like 9 oz and 17 oz? I like my wide-mouth ones (12 oz and 16 oz) better than my skinny 17 oz because they are easier to clean and sit better in the car cup holder.

Here’s a pic of my little S’well and the medium size. DD also has the really big water bottle.

I think my little S’well is just under 16 oz.

I have a tendency to soak myself if the mouth opening on a water bottle is too wide (TMI, I know) so I need the smaller bottles if only not have to bring a change of clothes to work.

You can look at the bottom of the bottle and it will tell you the size (based on the shape, it is likely 17 or 9, I think). Here are mine — from left to right — 17 oz (and the sports cap I bought),16 oz Starbuck, 15 oz S’ip and 12 oz. I use all of them. The SB one is getting kind of beat up on the outside — I may need to get a replacement next year .

I know what you mean about spilling water on myself with the wide mouth but I find the ease of cleaning the wide mouth is worth a little water on my shirt

Thank you, Iam. I found the 9 oz on the bottom but it can hold a bit more if you go up to the top! I even poured in the water with a measuring cup! Oh, well.

You have a lovely collection of bottles. I like the big S’well. It’s so pretty but the all silver one is so sleek. I just have my little one.
