Thank you for the ideas, I have been cleaning like a freak, keeping myself busier, I work and have kids so my worst time is when I am off and the kids are in bed, I am trying to learn how to see the pretty things without wanting the pretty things.. i did spent money today, but my oldest needed school clothes..He had a growth spur recently so I got him some clothes, but when i did my "rules for my no buy" I took this in consideration, having an almost 8 year old and almost 3 year old twins, they grow from one day to the next :S,

My “no spending“ rule only applies to purses :). Kids clothes definitely don’t count, unless they include a Coach bag :lol

So my mom was admitted again to the hospital this weekend. She just got home last night. Apparently she ate something she shouldn't have and started nonstop vomiting and having diarrhea and had to be taken to the hospital. I hope this taught her a lesson to take care of herself because she listens to no one. I am terrified she's gonna end up getting the virus from her PREVENTABLE visits and be gone in a matter of two weeks.
Anyone else have parents who is being unnecessarily difficult during this madness?

That's to bad, hope she feels better soon. My mother returns to work next month, she drives a school bus so that whole process is feeling.. um, slightly concerning. Frankly, I am feeling the precautions put forth are falling quite short for the schools and the busing company itself isn't truly sure as of yet what accommodations are being made for their drivers.

My mother is retired from the medical field, so is quite informed so I don't need to worry much about her from that aspect.

My mom will be 70 this year and she just lost her brother. I know it's one of the things weighing on me that my time is growing short with her. She told me she is fighting with her credit card company because she bought "keto" pills off of a pop up ad for what was supposed to be $10 and they charged her a lot more.

To say I was beyond mad at her stupidity was an understatement. I could care less about the money but you're really going to take pills from goodness knows who with whatever in them? I don't think she took any but my gray hair has gotten more voluminous. You know what to do to get yourself healthy. You have all the time and money in the world to do it. It's aggravating when they just want to be happy and who can deny them that? At least she asked me who my yoga girl is on YouTube so here's hoping she's trying that instead.

I hope your mom gets to feeling better soon and answers the wakeup call. :hugs::hbeat: Parents!

Er, yeah unknown source for medications? definitely a worry.

Hi, everyone! Missed all of you. DH and I had a great time in Breckenridge for his birthday and my stepdaughter's birthday. Summit County, CO had a law that everyone had to wear face masks, so we felt fairly safe (as much as anyone can these days). DH played golf a couple days, and I rented a bike on those days and went on some great rides. The main thing I was concerned was on the flights to and from Denver. Some people removed their masks right after the seat belt sign turned off. DH, my stepdaughter, and I went kayaking another day, and DH and I went for a hike. Beautiful weather.

Tomorrow I getting a custom fit for a new bike. I'm getting a Trek this time. My current bike is about 18 years old, and I want one that shifts a little easier. I'll have to wait about 4 months to get it because of the backlog. So many people are buying bikes since March. So this purchase means I won't buy any bags for a while although I'm still bag content right now.

I went to Nordstrom today for the sale because the store offered me a $50 gift card if I came in. Nordstrom doesn't have as much as they usually do although I bought some things I usually do like athletic wear for DH and I. It was good to get out. Not many people in the store.

That's about it. Glad to see all of you are doing well.

Hi E. Glad the trip went well. Enjoy your new wheels!

Okay here is the selection for tomorrow. I was gonna go with KS tote because of all the reasons @BeachBagGal said. But, it’s an open bag and I wasn’t cool with that for everything I have so I decided to show off and go with two. Behold my gorgeous Toast in chalk. How I have not pulled her out before now is beyond me. I am putting myself in Coach jail.

I think this means everyone that guessed wins including @Iamminda . She guessed woven Toast but that’s my Fall bag yet it is half right and she is sleeping with a toad so why not? She’s suffered enough. :hugs:

It’s raining freebies! For one, count it, one bag. @houseof999 and @Syren you can start confessing now...

I carried my red station bag today and realized I don't love the style due to the lack of an outside back pocket. They are all getting the boot. It's a pain in the butt to unlock the turn lock and lift the flap to pull my phone out from the front pocket in a hurry. So there. I'm about to unload at least 5 or more station bags.

wow, but if it doesn't work for you why keep them? sounds like the right decision.

I'm having a hard time with getting too hot in a mask. Is this just me? I do deep breathing in the mask lol, and between that and humidity, I have to change masks often. I haven't figured out how to avoid that. Part of the problem is the heat and humidity; so putting the mask on outside begins the overheating process. Hopefully it will get better, and cooler weather will help. Does anyone have tips for me? I'm in awe of those who wear the masks all day long. So forgive my complaining. I am dreaming of the day when I can smile at people indoors with my whole face.

They are warm, but you may have to experiment with different styles and so forth. They are most definitely not created equally.
