I sold a bag! Also just gave away my black vintage Coach Abbie to my sweet neighbor.

I’m another holiday casualty. I was going to Las Vegas but we’ve decided to error on the side of caution. I’ll work on my garden instead!

I am looking forward to planning my planters. DH bought me two big planters for Christmas so I’ll enjoy filling them. Maybe a better use of purse funds after buying Cassie...

Thanks, TO! We won’t be going anywhere for awhile as our government health officials have asked us to self -isolate at home for 14 days afterwards if we go out of the country. In my role as a K teacher, I cannot imagine being away from my students that long. I can travel later in the year. I’d rather not travel unnecessarily right now.

I received my bright cherry multi Charlie 28 today. It’s very pretty but I only like it. I don’t love it. I prefer my metallic blue Charlie 28. It’s just something about the pink colour-very bold. I have a small wallet in this colour and it’s nice but only in small doses. I’ll be returning it.

I’m happy with my Cassie and will stop there.

I always have trouble deciding about travel bags. I don't want anything nice to get ruined, but at the same time I want to look and feel good about what I'm carrying.

C, when you travel by plane, do you put your handbag in your travel tote under the seat in front of you or do you have an oversized nylon bag to pop it in to?

Yes, I put it inside my tote under the seat in front of me. I don't protect it at all. The tote still looks fabulous.

Right! Altogether all that was still under $50 but the more I look, the more I'll find!

Besides, I also only have so much space.

I've been having that exact thought. "It's under $30/$20/$10! What's the harm?" and... then I have five items.

I have to say, I'm so appreciating you and all the other authenticators. It's really giving me the ability to learn as I go and to know what to be suspicious about/keep an eye out for, as well as giving me tools to at least try to check things out on my own.

You guys sound like incredible researchers. I wish I found items for such a steal. Or maybe not?

As for white purses or lighter ones, I'm carrying a lighter colored canvas coach right now and it seems okay. *fingers crossed* lol I'm too paranoid.
And oh yeah! I actually love working on our vehicles. I just recently helped him change a fuel pump in the truck as well and that was pesky. Lol
I remember one time I had blown a tire on my way home from work. A cop had gone up the road and came back to help but by the time he got back to me I was already tightening up the last lug. Lol he was impressed. It was funny. Men are silly. Women aren't unable to do these things.

That's awesome. How nice to be able to impress the cop. Maybe you can teach us here on ban island. We will all be impressive after taking your courses. With school closings all over, we may need to permanently move to this island. Pass the daiquiri, please.

My daughter is a senior at Tulane University and she’s in shock with having to say goodbye so quickly and graduation ceremonies for now is up in the air. My son is ok with it, he’s only a sophomore. This is getting scary,

It would be areal bummer not to have her graduation ceremony. I hope this thing is contained and goes away soon.

Well, it was confirmed that my Megan is indeed a fake. BUT, it's still an adorable bag. It just needs a good cleaning. I'm still going to carry it.
My husband was so so excited that he found something I've been looking for for months. I don't have the heart to make him sad about it. I'm happy he got it either way. Considering he is a man that is completely uninterested in purses, I'm surprised he knew what to look for. Lol
I'll add a Coach hangtag to it and wear it proud. Lol

Even states with few cases are doing this now too. I guess the idea is to avoid a bunch of spring breakers coming back and spreading the virus to communities, and they are also trying to avoid a mass spread mainly so that hospitals aren't overwhelmed with the population that will need ventilators. It feels really crazy, but I guess in the end if we can keep the numbers lower, protect the elderly from extra exposure, perhaps it might get under control faster. I hope it does anyway--I know everyone wants to get back to "normal" and this definitely isn't normal! ugh

True. Our state superintendent just cancelled classes for two weeks for all public schools. Many private schools follow their county guidelines for closures, so they are closing too. It will be very quiet for the next two weeks, but I think it is for the best. People went crazy in the supermarkets. I still don't get that part. There will be food tomorrow and next week. It's not like the supermarkets are closing and we can't leave our houses.
