Just a follow up post on my funeral footwear dilemma. This morning, I went to the ceremony at the cemetery wearing a long black knit skirt and black flat Skechers. (My feet have been hurting a bit more since I went to the podiatrist yesterday, to be expected the first couple of days). Anyways, it was mostly fine until I ended up chasing my 4 year old niece across the cemetery lawn. She started to wander away so I got up to follow her. Then she started running.....and then running faster. Luckily, she circled back and a different family member chased her down and picked her up. I was dying, running like a mad woman in a long skirt still holding my purse. I am officially too old to watch a 4 year old.

Thanks again for all the advice on this :).

I bet you looked great!

They just got a confirmed case in our county. The news said that the person went out in public places with symptoms. He got it from another place and brought it into our county. Since they aren't saying exactly where he went there is no way to know if we crossed paths with him.

My daughter used to have a job where she worked from home but she took a temporary position in which she has to go into the office every day. It goes through the end of April. I really wish she was working from home. She is young but has health issues, including asthma.

Oh geez. I’m sure you’re worried. You can always come to the island for a pep talk. We are a virus free zone and we have purses to hug for comfort.

I’m another holiday casualty. I was going to Las Vegas but we’ve decided to error on the side of caution. I’ll work on my garden instead!
That's a smart decision! I'm glad we went to Las Vegas when we did, and I think we've been back long enough to be sure we didn't catch anything. I sure wouldn't want to tempt fate now.
